Hugo is a ridiculous, awkward, awesome and completely adored kitty living with his human guardians and two feline brothers in California. He loves everybody!
Hugo was born under a house in Hermosa Beach, CA in March 2011. His mama, who was feral, and his siblings scurried away when the humans discovered them, but Hugo was rescued by an awesome local rescue group called the Peter Zippi Fund for Animals. On May 8, J went to volunteer at PZF like she did every Sunday. One of the vet techs pointed out the new arrival: a tiny, blue eyed ball of tuxedo fluff
iness who was loudly voicing his displeasure at being kept in a cage. For J, a lifelong animal lover, it was love at first sight. J and her husband C took Hugo home and introduced him to Dexter, a fellow Tuxedo. A year later J brought home another feral kitten from outside her work. C and J named him Jack and their trio of felines was complete. Although C and J love all three of their cats, Hugo has gained many fans among C and J's friends because he is so friendly and chill. He's kind of awkward and is literally afraid of his own shadow. He likes to hang out in weird places like under the toilet and on top of the fridge. He demands affection when he wants it by meowing loudly. He's also huge-not fat, but if Hugo played football, he'd be a linebacker. C and J think that Hugo is an amazing cat, and they created this page to share his awesomeness with the world. They also want to raise awareness about rescue cats, which all three of their kitties are. They know that all three of their boys are very lucky to have found a loving home, and that lots of kitties are not that lucky. C and J think that every kitty deserves a loving home, and they want people to know that rescue cats rock!
