Seven incredible young women. Seven different personalities, journeys, and stories. One shared love for the game and the teammates who have become so much more than just teammates.

Over the past several days, we've had the privilege of celebrating each of these seniors individually. We've shared their favorite memories, recognized their accomplishments, and heard from Coach Primus about the special qualities each brings to the Pendleton Volleyball program.

Now, it's time to celebrate them TOGETHER! 💚

Each has made her own unique mark on this program. Together, they've helped create something truly special.

🏐 Libero | 4-Year Varsity Player | Class of 2027

Determined. Caring. Energetic. Competitive.

Meet senior Finley Evans!

Some players leave their mark through the plays they make. Others leave their mark through the energy they bring, the example they set, and the way they make everyone around them better.

For the Lady Bucks, Finley has done all of those things.

As the team's only four-year varsity player, Finley has been a constant presence in the Pendleton volleyball program. Her competitive spirit, determination, leadership, and enthusiasm have made her someone her teammates can always count on.

Finley describes her role on the team as being a leader, supporting her teammates, and bringing energy to the court. Whether she's competing for every point or celebrating someone else's success, Finley has always been the kind of teammate who gives everything she has.

💚 Favorite Volleyball Memories:

For Finley, some of her favorite memories aren't necessarily the biggest wins or most exciting plays.

They're the dance parties before home games, singing the team song together, and all the little moments shared with her teammates.

Those moments represent the friendships, traditions, and memories that make high school volleyball so special.

Because years from now, it won't just be the scores or the matches she'll remember. It will be the laughter, the music, the friendships, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than herself.

🏐 From Coach Primus:

Jodi describes Finley in three words: spunky, dedicated, and inspirational.

Over four years on varsity, Finley has set an incredibly high standard for work ethic, determination, competitiveness, and heart.

Jodi describes her as a constant presence whose positive attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment to the program have made an immeasurable impact on the Lady Bucks.

Throughout those four years, Jodi has watched Finley grow into her own leadership style. She's always led by example, but it's through adversity that her confidence and personal strength have grown even more.

After tearing her ACL at a college prospect camp late summer, Finley faced one of the most difficult challenges of her volleyball journey. An injury that happened before her senior season even began meant she would miss the opportunity to compete alongside her teammates during her final year as a Lady Buck.

While her senior season has looked very different from what she had envisioned, Finley has continued to demonstrate the same determination, positive attitude, and resilience that has defined her career. Even though she couldn't be on the court, she has remained a constant source of encouragement and enthusiasm, showing that her leadership and impact on this team extends far beyond the game itself.

Jodi recognizes the strength it takes to navigate an injury and recovery—a journey that can sometimes feel lonely. Through that experience, Finley has learned the importance of believing in herself, standing strong, and becoming her own biggest cheerleader.

And even when she couldn't be on the court, Finley has never stopped being a teammate.

One of the things Jodi admires most is Finley's genuine excitement for the success of others. Whether it's a great dig, a perfect set, a powerful kill, or a big block, Finley celebrates her teammates with the same enthusiasm she'd bring to her own accomplishments.

That energy, encouragement, and genuine love for her teammates have been a unifying part of the Lady Bucks for four years.

"I would like Finley to know how much I appreciate her effort, positive attitude, and grit."

Coach Jodi also wants Finley to know how much she values the example she's set through her determination, competitiveness, and unwavering enthusiasm. She could always count on Finley to give everything she had, never hold back, and bring the positive energy that has been such an important part of the team's success.

🎓 Looking Ahead:

Finley's volleyball journey isn't over!

After graduation, Finley plans to attend Corban University, where she will continue her athletic career playing volleyball for the Warriors! 🏐

She plans to major in Kinesiology, pursuing her academic goals while continuing to compete in the sport she loves.

After four years of dedication to the Lady Bucks, Finley is preparing to take that same determination, work ethic, and competitive spirit to the collegiate level.

Finley, thank you for four incredible years of leadership, enthusiasm, hard work, and heart.

Your senior season may not have unfolded the way you imagined, but your impact on this program has never been measured by a single season or the number of matches you played.

It's measured by the example you've set, the teammates you've encouraged, the challenges you've faced, and the memories you've helped create.

🏐 Outside Hitter | 3-Year Varsity Player | Class of 2027

Competitive. Caring. Energetic. Team-Oriented.

Meet senior Kelsi Primus!

Some volleyball journeys are measured in wins, kills, and accomplishments. Others are measured in the confidence gained, challenges overcome, and moments when a player finally realizes just how capable she truly is.

For Kelsi, her journey with the Lady Bucks has been a little bit of both.

Kelsi describes herself as competitive, caring, and energetic. She sees her role as being a motivator and encourager, always working to support her teammates and bring her best effort to the court.

Throughout her four years in the Pendleton volleyball program, Kelsi has demonstrated a strong work ethic, determination, and a team-first mentality that have made her someone her teammates can depend on.

💚 Favorite Volleyball Memory:

For Kelsi, one of her favorite memories is competing at the 2025 State Tournament, surrounded by the excitement, energy, and unforgettable atmosphere of postseason volleyball.

The opportunity to compete alongside her teammates, challenge themselves against tough competition, and experience the intensity of State is something she'll always remember.

🏐 From Coach Primus:

Jodi describes Kelsi in three words: self-motivated, team-oriented, and competitive.

Kelsi began her freshman year on JV, developing her all-around skills and preparing herself for whatever her team needed. As a sophomore, she earned a varsity position as a right-side hitter before transitioning to outside hitter, where she's continued to grow into a smart, consistent, and adaptable attacker.

Over the years, Jodi has watched Kelsi learn when to adjust her swing to keep the ball in play and when to attack with everything she's got.

But perhaps her greatest growth hasn't been in her hitting ability. It's been in her confidence and belief in herself.

Through hard work and determination, Kelsi has become someone her teammates can count on to give her best effort, compete through pressure, and put the team's needs before her own.
And for Jodi, one particular moment stands above the rest.

💚 A Moment Neither Mother Nor Coach Will Forget:

During the Lady Bucks' final match against Marshfield at the 2025 State Tournament, Kelsi delivered some of her strongest hitting of the entire season.

It was a high-pressure match with so much on the line. But instead of allowing self-doubt to hold her back, Kelsi stepped onto the court, trusted herself, and played with the confidence and determination her coach had always known she possessed. For Jodi, watching that moment brought tears to her eyes.

Not simply because her daughter was playing well, but because she knew better than anyone how much Kelsi had battled self-doubt throughout her volleyball journey.

Watching her let go of that fear, rise to the occasion, and give everything she had when her teammates needed her most was a moment of tremendous pride.

It was one of those rare moments when being a coach and being a mom came together in the most beautiful way. 💚

Jodi calls it a proud mom-coach moment—one she'll never forget.

💛 A Personal Message from Coach Jodi:

For this particular Senior Spotlight, Jodi has a perspective unlike any other.

Because Kelsi isn't just one of her senior players. She's also her daughter. Her youngest child.

Jodi has had the privilege of coaching Kelsi since she was little, sharing not only a love for volleyball but years of practices, games, challenges, growth, and memories.

As Jodi reflects on their journey together, she shares:

"I would like Kelsi to know how much joy it has brought me to be her coach from the time she was little through her high school career. To share my deep love of this sport with my own daughter has been a true treasure."

Jodi recognizes that balancing the roles of mother and coach hasn't always been easy. Being the coach's daughter brings its own expectations and pressures, but Kelsi has handled those challenges with maturity and respect.

Throughout her career, Kelsi has never asked for special treatment, a particular position, or additional playing opportunities. Instead, she's trusted her coaches, respected the boundaries between parent and coach, and focused on doing what's best for her team. And that's what makes Jodi especially proud.

Beyond the volleyball skills, accomplishments, and growth in confidence, it's Kelsi's team-first mindset, determination, and respect for her teammates that mean the most.

Meet senior Caitlin Cooley!

Behind every great attack is a setter who makes it possible. Someone who sees the court, anticipates the next play, makes split-second decisions, and puts her teammates in a position to succeed.

For the Lady Bucks, that player is Caitlin.

Caitlin brings a combination of competitive drive, organization, determination, and leadership to the Pendleton volleyball program. She describes her role on the team as being a leader, motivator, and someone who works hard to keep everyone focused and working together.

As the team's setter, Caitlin takes on one of the most demanding roles on the court. But it's a responsibility she embraces with confidence, consistency, and a commitment to helping her teammates shine.

💚 Favorite Volleyball Memory:

One of Caitlin's favorite memories comes from the 2025 State Tournament in Coos Bay, during her junior year.

While competing at State was an unforgettable experience, one of the moments she treasures most is simply getting ready with her teammates before their final match.

It's a reminder that some of the most meaningful memories aren't always made during the biggest plays or most exciting wins.

Sometimes they're found in the little moments—laughing together, sharing traditions, and enjoying the experience with the teammates who have become such an important part of your life.

Jodi describes Caitlin in three words: dedicated, hardworking, and mentally tough.

As the Lady Bucks' setter, Caitlin carries an enormous amount of responsibility. She covers a tremendous amount of court, makes difficult decisions in an instant, and must constantly be in tune with her teammates.

It's a demanding position, but Jodi says Caitlin has a special ability to make an incredibly difficult job look easy.

Her consistency, court awareness, and leadership have earned the respect of teammates, coaches, and opponents alike.

Throughout her years in the program, Jodi has watched Caitlin grow not only as a setter, but as a confident leader.

She's developed the ability to recognize adjustments, make quick decisions under pressure, and find ways to help her hitters be successful. Her confidence in herself and her ability to handle the demands of her position have continued to grow with every season.

What stands out most to Jodi is Caitlin's unwavering dedication to becoming the setter she is today.

For years, Caitlin has poured her heart into volleyball, investing countless hours into improving her skills, understanding the game, and becoming someone her teammates can depend on.

Whether she's diving for a tough ball, encouraging her teammates, or finding creative ways to make everyone laugh, McKinley knows how to work hard while making the most of every moment.

She describes her role on the team as being a motivator and bringing fun to the group. Her outgoing personality, competitive drive, and enthusiasm have made her an important part of the Pendleton volleyball program.

Olivia describes her role on the team as bringing energy, positivity, and motivation—and celebrating BIG! Her outgoing personality, competitive spirit, and genuine love for volleyball are qualities that make her such a memorable part of this team.

When Olivia thinks back on her volleyball journey, one moment stands out above the rest—her very first block kill as a freshman!

Meet senior Braelyn Gunter!

Braelyn brings a combination of competitive drive, determination, and genuine kindness to the Lady Bucks volleyball program. Whether she's delivering a powerful hit, making a big block, or encouraging a teammate, Braelyn understands the importance of showing up, working hard, and being someone her teammates can count on.

She describes her role on the team as encouraging others and being consistent, both on and off the court. Her coach describes Braelyn in three words: strong, tough, and fun.

💚 Favorite Volleyball Memory:

For Braelyn, one of the most unforgettable experiences of her volleyball journey was competing at the 2025 State Tournament during her junior year.

She remembers those matches as some of the most competitive and challenging she's ever played. But what made the experience truly special wasn't just the competition. It was the way her team came together as one.

Those are the moments that remind us what volleyball is really about—facing challenges together, trusting the people beside you, and discovering what you can accomplish as a team.

Jodi recognizes Braelyn as a talented all-around player whose strong hitting, blocking, and serving have made her a powerful presence on the court.

But Braelyn's journey hasn't been without challenges. Transferring schools during high school meant stepping into a new program, proving herself, and earning her place on varsity. Through hard work and determination, she developed greater confidence in herself and her abilities.

Jodi is especially proud of Braelyn's willingness to adapt, take on different positions, and do whatever the team needs.

And while Braelyn's powerful cross-court hits and tough serves are certainly memorable, it's her witty personality and unexpected humor that have made just as much of an impression.

According to Jodi, she'll never hear the phrase "6-7" again without thinking of Braelyn and the countless laughs she brought to the team last season! 💚

"I would like Brae to know how much I value her strengths that she has brought to this team and how proud I am of her fight."

Jodi also wants Braelyn to know how much she appreciates her flexibility, grit, and willingness to step into whatever role the team needs. Her determination to earn her place and her ability to contribute in so many ways have made her a valuable part of the Lady Bucks.

🎓 Looking Ahead:

After graduation, Braelyn plans to attend Brigham Young University–Idaho (BYU–Idaho), where she hopes to pursue a career in the medical field as a sonographer (ultrasound technician).
