This is a typical workout that I would do for myself or give a client. You guys should try out this workout, especially if youâre trying to grow and round your glutes đđ„
Remember- the goal is not âsets of 12â the goal is to push the weight you are doing until you can work with it for sets of 12 (from there, make sure you go up in weight-this is how you utilize progressive overload and grow them quicker!!)

Hereâs a few, simple tips, to improve your nutrition
1. Drink water with your meals (not soda, not sweet tea, water). This will increase satiety with less calories.
2. Donât think about âgiving things upâ if that scares you; start by âcutting backâ. You have to find balance and control.
3. Prioritize protein, even if your goal is to lose weight.
4. Don't program âcheat daysâ; allow yourself âA cheat treatâ on occasion (be mindful of how often âan occasionâ is and make sure itâs not to excess).
5. Read food labels on the items youâre purchasing; donât believe that everything marked âproteinâ as being the healthier option (look for high amounts of sugar and fat). âLow calorieâ items should be compared as well (if youâre paying $1.75 more for 15 less calories per serving, is that really worth your extra money?)
Being healthy doesnât have to be scary. These are all tips that you can implement today to improve your nutrition and to meet your goals faster!

Letâs get up, get active, eat right, and take care!
Generic Fitness & Nutrition advice will only get you so far.
People throw out generic calorie numbers and tell you âthis is what you need to get xyz resultsâ and thatâs just not the case.
If your calories are so low that you donât have the energy to have a good workout or recover muscle, you will put on less muscle by virtue of just not working out efficiently (in turn, making it harder for you to tone up and to lose weight).
If youâre not fueling your body with enough calories, it can also just make it harder for you to lose body fat as well. I picked up a client who was working out 5 days a week, running 3 times a week, and he had broken down and gotten a trainer because he was not able to lose the weight he needed to (despite him eating 1500 calories a day). When he told me this, I knew right away that we needed to get his calories up.
The FIRST thing I did was assess him (his height, current weight, and his physical activity level) and I calculated that he needed to be eating closer to 2000 calories a day. He was very diligent with calorie counting, so I put him on it right away and the difference was huge. I remember he comes running into the gym one day because heâd slept in a bit and was running late. He apologized and asked where I wanted to start; I looked at him and said âdude, the stomach has just fallen off of youâ. I almost couldnât believe my eyesâŠhis stomach was SO much flatter than when we had started (about 2 months in). He smiled and said âmy wife was just telling me the other day how great I was looking. And I have so much more energy since Iâve been eating more.â
Donât go with generic caloric goalsâŠgo with caloric goals that actually work for your body and for your needs.

Consistency is important when it comes to making lifestyle changes like working out and eating better.
Thatâs why you need to treat them as âlifestyle changesâ and not just âthings you doâ.
If you donât take it seriously, you wonât see serious results.
âSerious Resultsâ are not âgetting shreddedâ or âhaving the flattest stomachâ or anything like that; these are simply results that are actually a result of you having worked hard for yourself and made a change to your body and lifestyle.
Whether thatâs the way you look, the way your body functions, or just developing better habits, âSerious Resultsâ look different for everyone.
Sometimes we just need to see change, and those are âSeriousâ enough results for anyone to keep going; but you have to start today and you have to be consistent (while making this work in accordance to your lifestyle)
I donât have the best physique by any means; however, I am so proud of the amount of work and change that my body has seen over the past couple of years; for me, these are âserious resultsâ. These are results of me taking my fitness and nutrition and lifestyle changes more Serious and Iâm proud of where I am becoming.
That is a realistic goal that anyone can set and anyone can achieve. Youâre never to young or too old to get up and actually get yourself active and to get your diet in a better place.

I see a lot of people who do things like âswing back and forthâ and âgoing too lowâ when doing exercises like this and if you do these things, you will not only see little development from these exercises but they will also hurt you!
