Robby made the cut!
It was a rainy day yesterday, but Robby didn’t let the adverse conditions get him down. He played above his rating and made the cut. Today’s the final day. A strong finish will put him in the top 10.

The Junior World Championships got underway Monday with the skills competitions and we’re pleased to announce that Robby finished second in a combined MJ15/MJ18 division! We can’t wait for the first round to start today. Let’s hope those Roaches stay hot!

For the second year in a row Condor Disc Golf will be sponsoring a player at the Junior World Championships. We see this as one of the best ways to grow the sport, and encourage you to help kids in your community as well. Regardless of how they place, competing at this level at this age is great experience for the future.
This year we will be sponsoring Robby Wagner. Robby is a combination of natural talent and hard work. He comes from a disc golf family and started playing at a young age. On top of that, he has put in the time on field work and practice rounds, and we are excited to see what he will do in his final year of eligibility for MJ15.

Jeremy has been on the Street Team for a couple months, but he makes his first appearance on our ratings update with a solid +9!

Congratulations to Gannon Buhr on winning the 39th Kansas City Wide Open!! He becomes the 29th different winner of the event and joins a prestigious list that includes world champions; Paul McBeth, Ricky Wysocki, Dave Feldberg, Eric McCabe, Nate Doss, Barry Schultz, and Ken Climo.
Gannon shot a smoking 1034 three round average including a1068 rated -11 at Bad Rock Creek! The most impressive hole of the entire event may have been Gannon's eagle 3 on the 917' hole 18 at Bad Rock.

To throw or not to throw? Hole 2 is only 260 feet, but it's over water the entire way!
Our fifth and final Kansas City Wide Open course shirt is now live on the website which means it's time for the tournament to start! Whether you're a local who plays these courses regularly or just in town for the tournament, you can take home a t-shirt to remember your favorite course.
In the gold layout, BRC is one of the longest courses in the metro, but the blue baskets and alternate tee pads make it playable for any skill level. The course features water carry, elevation change, and while it is mainly a park style course, the most predominant feature is throwing out of tunnels off the tee. Set in a well-maintained, multi-use park, what's not to love about Bad Rock?!

It's Kansas City Wide Open Week!
The team has made steady progress this month. We're coming to the end of a long season, and it's good to see everyone is still improving and moving towards their goals. That takes endurance and commitment, and that's what I love about these guys!
Cory has almost achieved his season goal of reaching 900. He's been tearing it up in MA3 this year and I can't wait to see what he'll do in MA2! Cory will be playing the Kansas City Wide Open this weekend.
The Kansas City Wide Open is the biggest tournament in KC each year. This year there are over 400 players and $5,000 in added cash!! There will be single round warm-up events all week leading up to the big show this weekend; three days, five courses. It's a good week to be in KC!
