Just back from an awesome but dusty day of off road racing south of Canton - courtesy of the Canton Motorcycle Club. Paul Senneff and I both raced and Christy took photos. The D17 flat track community was well represented even though we ain't off road racers ! Many thanks to Canton-MC Racing for putting this race on - it's a yearly tradition that Paul and I enjoy. Time for a beer !

Brisk early morning ride with Christy Senneff on the Rock Island trail. I spent the rest of the day prepping the KTM woods bikes for tomorrow's Canton GP. Should be a fun time with very little mud !

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy 69th birthday. Age is a number - ignore it and move forward.

Lots of very productive days on the prairie south of Tiskilwa this past week. Without the rain last night, we'd have been done with harvest today. We'll finish up on Monday. Thanks to Paul Senneff for hanging out with me yesterday - filling wagons from the field and dumping to the big auger. He learned that farming ain't all about sitting in a tractor.

Another good harvest week on the prairie south of Tiskilwa. We did not miss one day due to weather or any other reason, really. Minor issues with equipment, which always crop up ( 🤣🤣), were handled by our team - with minimal mental stress. Tomorrow we hit it again !

2024 harvest is well underway on the prairies south of Tiskilwa. We had a 10 day run of great weather and were able to basically finish beans. Monday, as per upper management, we'll start corn harvest. Combine issues were minimal and yields are looking very good.
