Hello Tribe,
Our 1st Heart of Illinois (HOI) Open Martial Arts Tournament was a great success! We had an amazing turnout, got to reconnect with old friends, and made many new ones along the way.
I want to take a special moment to recognize my student and colleague, Jonathan Kness, who was promoted to 4th Degree Sa Buhm Nim. SBN Jonathan played a crucial role in making this tournament happen—from handling the online registration to helping organize and manage the entire event. His dedication, leadership, and hard work were truly invaluable.
