💜🏸Our ladies took on the Ironwood Eagles today and came out VICTORIOUS claiming the title of State Champions! With a score of 5-4 the girls took home the win. These ladies truly show their pride in their school by embodying what it means to be a Mustang on and off the court.
Please give your warmest congratulations to the following athletes who had a hand in today’s match: Delight Canale, Chloe Thornburg, Jaycee Carter, Violet Eisentrout, Norah Brooks, Gracen Thomas, and Brenna Riley.
Congratulations to our head Coach Missy Carter being a multi-sport State Championship Coach in both badminton and soccer. Of course, this season couldn’t be what it was without our Assistant Coaches Ruthey Figg and Kylie Puchta. 🏸💛

💜🏸Congratulations to the girls varsity badminton team for beating Arizona College prep 7 - 2 in the semi finals. These amazing girls face Ironwood tomorrow at 11:30 at Desert Vista in the state championship. Way to go ladies.!!!🏸💛

💜🏸The girls badminton team has advanced to the semi-finals in the state tournament with a solid 6-0 win over Marcos de Niza. Come on out and support the girls on Friday when we take on AZ College Prep. We play at 4 PM in the practice gym. Good luck ladies!!!🏸💛

💜🏸 The girls badminton team opened the first round of state with a 6-0 win against deer Valley. A big shout out to the boys baseball team for their support at our match!!! The team moves on to the quarterfinals Wednesday at home at 4 PM. Come out and support the girls!🏸💛

It was a great day for SMHS Badminton. Delight finished 3rd in state making a statement in her last match. Our #2 doubles team knocked out the #2 ranked team and finished 4th. This is a great accomplishment as they played against all #1 doubles teams. Way to go ladies!!!

💜🏸 The girls Badminton team had a great day today! It started with our homecoming parade and ended with our singles Delight🦋, ranked #2 advancing to the quarter finals tomorrow and our doubles team of Violet and Norah ranked #7 also advancing to the quarterfinals tomorrow. Brenna lost a hard match against a number one ranked player. So proud of these girls!🏸💛
