We did not anticipate any rain today :-/ I know we lost some people because of the rainy forcast that we didnt know about.
For those that left early, We had a vote with the guys left and instead of trying to get the track fixed again with it being so late already the majority vote was to run the mains at the start of the next points race on June 28th. How everyone qualified in todays heats is how we will start the mains on the 28th. For those coming the 28th who were not at todays race will run in the Peterson automotive summer points round 2 program only. No one that was not running today will be added to the make up mains. Lampy did not know it was raining that hard in the 4x4 short bus heat so we will have some special things for that class for the next race because they definitely got the worst punishment today.

On a plus note we now know the loop is fixed, we will work through the computer issues before the next race event.

SCHEDULE UPDATE
Due to some schedule conflicts we have to reschedule the night time 1/10th scale trophy race originally scheduled for June 13th till July 18th. (Please share to help spread the word) this is a non point race on a Saturdayevening. All point races will be held on Sundays .

Hope to see everyone this sunday May 31st for the first of a best 6 of 8 1/10th scale points race series!

The RCR Spring Showdown (1/8th scale version) is in the books. Thanks to everyone that came out and thanks to everyone that helped make the race possible. Elijah Whiting Rodney Baker Jeff Eden Zachery Robert Zefo Ben Watkins Jared Evans Tyler Stoecker Stephen Kalb Daniel Forbes (sorry for any names im forgetting ) all had a part at getting this layout in. With the rainy weather we have had the past month we had 3 work days get rained out and we were still able to get most of the layout we wanted built. Id like to thank all the drivers for being patient in the mains with the marshals. Its always hard to get enough marshals with a low turnout, and so the 40+ guys and some older volunteers ended up having to marshal back to back to back and several racers waited extra time to get help more than once.

Unfortunately this layout will not be in very long as we will have a new layout for the 1st annual Zeb Gardner memorial race July 25th (unofficial roar warm up) and again for the roar region 5 championships August 7,8,9.

Lots of great racing in several classes today. The ebuggy class was the closest ive seen in awhile, Larry Wright had a dominant performance in the truggy classes and even the novice class was close for most of the race.
