This is a great opportunity to get exposure to swimming, cycling, and running/pushing, with equipment and support if needed (hand cycles, recumbent bikes, sports chair, running feet for prosthetic users, tethers and guides for individuals with visual impairments), learn about triathlon, and engage with our partner Dare2tri! We have volunteers joining us from the Peoria Triathlon Club, RC Outfitters, and Steamboat Classic . Great opportunity to network with our local groups and learn more about how to get involved with them. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN for our first Paratriathlon Multisport Clinic! We are partnering with to bring paratriathlon to Central Illinois. The clinic is open to individuals of all ages/skill level (beginner to elite) who have a physical disability or visual impairment. A huge "Thank you!" to all who attended and also helped out at our first Adapt & Conquer Expo! The expo was a major success, and we are so thankful for all those that joined us at our inaugural event. Posted with this are some photos highlighting the event. More can be found at our website. Please don't forget to complete the expo feedback survey and community needs assessment (see QR Codes photo in post) so we can continue to grow the expo and our organization in meaningful ways for you all. By the Numbers:
- Total Attendance: 139 attendees
- Resource Fair Partners: 21 participating organizations
- Activities Offered: 12 adaptive activities (sports, recreation, and fitness) offered by 12 community groups
- Volunteer Support: 64 volunteers provided support donating 230 hours of time for the event
- Areas Served: The event reached people from approximately 70 different communities across 25 counties in 3 states. Most of the attendees were from Central Illinois, but attendees also came from Iowa and Indiana.

A huge "Thank you!" to our sponsors of the 2025 Adapt and Conquer Expo who, with their generous support, made this event possible! We also want to give a shout out to all of the businesses and organizations that will be at the Community Resource Fair - it's a great line up. Lastly, thank you to the organizations coming to our expo to host the activities and provide equipment. The collaboration between all of these incredible organizations is bringing this event to life.
