Congratulations to Elouise, Silas, Kadrias, Vivian, Kira, and Kal for earning stripes on their belts! And a huge congratulations to James and Sam for earning their grey belts! The warrior kids have been working hard and smart to get better and their progress is showing! Our kids' Jiu Jitsu room is looking strong because of these fine young people and their parents/grandparents.
**Side note** We're going to hold off on adding an extra fifteen minutes to class until Coach Gage comes back healthy. Then we will reevaluate again. Thank you to everyone that supports us!

Congratulations to Gage for being the first student to earn his blue belt exclusively at Ōkami BJJ! At just 17 years old, Gage personifies the values of our gym, because he is smart, hard working, and he treats everyone with respect. We are super proud of him and we are lucky to have him as a coach for kids class and a student in adult class! Gage will be successful at Jiu Jitsu or anything that he chooses to do in life. 👌🐺🥋

Hello everyone! We are thinking of adding another 15 minutes to the beginning of our Warrior Kids' classes. So instead of starting at 5:15pm on Tues, Wed, Thur, we would start at 5:00pm. And instead of starting at 11:15am on Saturday, we would start at 11:00am. Please let us know if this works or doesn't work for you!

Seven Warrior kids went to this weekend in Oak Lawn, Illinois. We finished 6th overall out of 60+ teams, as the kids combined for 34 wins and 15 losses. They brought home five golds, three silvers, and two bronzes. Elouise, Lincoln, Kal, Sam, James, Kira, and Vivian fought hard and smart and we are super proud of their efforts. Coach Gage also competed in the white belt adult division as a 17 year old and he took silver after winning three tough fights against skilled opponents. Highlights are coming soon! Friendly reminder, no class tomorrow, on Saturday, April 11. Ōkami BJJ Warrior Kids have been working really hard in preparation for We have seven kids competing tomorrow. We also have Coach Gage, who is competing in the adult division as a 17 year old. Hopefully we bring home some hardware! 👌🐺🥋
