Petoskey Little League Challenger Team

Awesome night with great energy!! Challengers had a blast with Girls Varsity Basketball ( 2025-2026 season Champions!! 🙌🏻🎊) and Girls JV Basketball teams. Thank you to all who made effort and took time to come out and support our team and make some amazing memories for these great players!! We couldn’t have done it without you!! 👏

We are hopeful to have a game tonight! As long as the rain doesn’t affect the field too much. It is up to the City of Petoskey if we can play in the fields. We will wait and see!
If we get to play tonight, we have awesome Ottawa staff and kids crew coming out to have some fun with our team!! 👏⚾️

We will have our awesome team from Petoskey Parks and Rec supporting our amazing Challenger team, as well as having one and only Ed Smith coaching the team while coach Carl is out of town.
We will miss everyone, but we know for sure that you all will have the best time with coach Ed and his amazing team of volunteers!! Look forward to seeing everyone on May 29th after a break for a Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸

This Saturday we have Little League Baseball opening day ceremony.
Coach Carl sent out texts to Challenger players with details.
Will see you Saturday at 9am!!
Our first game is on Friday, May 8th. We have Genesis Youth group and potentially Petoskey Varsity Baseball team (if they don’t have district game that day) coming out to help.

May 22nd - NO GAME ( Memorial Day weekend)
May 29th - Petoskey girls soccer team
June 5th - Ottawa Elementary staff team with kids
June 12th - Petoskey girls JV basketball team
June 19th - Petoskey Public Safety team

All games are at 6pm. 🕕 mark your calendars. The only reason the game would be cancelled would be due to weather.

Our season ended with an amazing game and great celebration of our players and all that they have accomplished. We couldn’t do this without our selfless volunteers and Petoskey Little League team that has been supporting us each season. A Big Thank you to coach Carl and his dedication to players and taking time to teach them about baseball. It’s been a great season!! Until next year!! ⚾️🧢
