These birds never cease to amaze me. EVERYDAY they remind me how GREAT our God is.
If you know anything about pigeons you know hawks are one of the biggest threats to their safety, ESPECIALLY when they are alone this is one reason they fly in a flock.
I let the birds out today about 7:15...5 minutes later...our resident hawk start screaming!
The pigeons were flying high and seemed unconcerened...
Because of the humidity the dont stay up long( if you are a jogger you know how they feel) as they were beginning their decent here comes the hawk!!! A big Cooper's Hawk.
The pigeons came up BEHIND the hawk and surrounded him!!!!
They didn't "chase" the hawk like some birds do, nor did the flock scatter ( which is what they usually do)...they stuck together until the hawk changed direction!?!?!.
At one point the hawk was in the middle of the flock!
I wish I had caught this with my camera! (The picture here was taken just before the hawk incident).
Neighbors, if we surround ourselves with with true followers of Christ then Satan has to change HIS course. As Christians we all have been given the power through the Holy Spirit to ecape the hands of Satan, but when we come together in the name of Jesus our power is amplified beyond our comprehension!
