> Heavy 160 < (1st 🏁)
Car felt the best it’s ever been. Very glad I put the effort into it that I did over the winter break.

> Heavy World Formula < (3rd 🥉)
Definitely an improvement from last week. Especially considering I had to rebuild my brake caliper before my race. Was close to the 2nd place car this time. Really couldn’t tell how the car felt from last week so I made a bad decision of changing the gear to a high RPM gear.

🏁 First race of the year!! 🏁
> Track: South Jersey Q.M. Association
> Class: Heavy World Formula

Did decent for starting with a fresh setup. Had to make adjustments after the heat; as my throttle was sticking and wasn’t going down all the way while I was riding the brakes.

> HEATS <
Started 7th and worked my way up to fourth with the throttle issue.

> FEATURES <
Started 4th on the outside, got pushed back a few spots, then worked my way up to 2nd on the wrong tires.

Very happy with the setup and how this race turned out; still needs a slight adjustment, and will probably be down here at South Jersey as much as I can.

Too tired to post awhile ago… (10/08/23)

Don’t know where we started. During the race the third place car spun and we hit them which bent our rim, popped our tire, and popped the chain. Went in the pits and got the chain on without a tire. Went a lap, spun out (definitely not on purpose), and went in for a new RR tire/rim. Worked my way up to 3rd and on the last corner passed for 2nd.

The same day we had a regular race with Hvy. World and Hvy. 160…

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ > Heavy World < (🥉)
Honestly… huge mistake on my end. Thought the gears were on a different split than they were. Should’ve been a higher split, totally forgot since the engine gear wasn’t labeled. Don’t remember much but we finished third.

Throttle wasn’t even going down all the way since the cable holder moved. Can’t remember the starting position but we were running 4th for a good while and on the last lap a car ahead got into the wall and dropped down a position or two which put us third.

Thank you to everyone who has helped with the cars and racing.

Today we decided to run South Jersey Quarter Midgets. Hunter ran Senior Animal, and we also brought Lincoln Ruths along for the day.

Hunter ran his ass off, and brought home a solid 3rd place finish, and was passing for 2nd on the last lap. He made a few small mistakes with his line, but corrected himself on his own and ran probably the best he’s ran since moving out of Rookies. Zero complaints here!

Lincoln won his heat, and started on the pole for his feature. He took the lead at the green and never looked back. Ridin’ the wall and hittin’ the chip!
