We have some excellent smallmouth bass/salmon availability for June in Maine this year still. I have June 8-11 available, and June 15-21 available. Lodging available. This is prime-time for killer smallmouth fishing. Reach out anytime for rates!

We have plenty of prime time smallmouth and salmon availability in Maine this June and July. Our specialty is remote, unpressured waters in the heart of downeast Maine. Float trips, boat trips in bigger lakes, hiking along rivers, whatever it takes. 50-100 fish days are not uncommon. We have lodging available, or just book day trips if you’re already staying in/around nearby Acadia Nat’l Park. Message for available dates/rates.

There’s a lake I do pretty good at usually. The water looks amazing, but I had a hunch the outlet river might be even better. Only problem is it involves a 13 mile commitment canoe ride to water you just can’t get out of. So once you start…you’re in. I told my friend Mike about my idea and he and his sons joined for an awesome adventure today. It did not disappoint! Plenty of completely unpressured smallmouths all day long! At least 3 more 20”+ smallies again today and a decent amount of others. It was a bit slow with the weather change, but some real studs.

We had a 2 boat crew today and had a slow morning, but the afternoon was on fire. Gary (in the first pic) caught this 20” smallie on his first day ever fishing for them…blow up after blow up on the topwater.

The trucks and outboards are gassed up. First guests are arriving this afternoon… Freedom Outfitters smallmouth camp is about to get kicked off for 2024!
