New coaches, new team, new attitude. Let's start off the 2026 season with a win.

Schedule Update: Unfortunately, Barrack Academy cancelled our first game that was scheduled to be played tomorrow. Our 1st game of the season will now be on Monday, at home, vs Abington Friends @3:30. Come out and support the girls as we look to go 1-0 on the season.

Meet our 2026 Team Captains. Aubrey, a Senior, is a natural leader and has displayed incredible toughness in training camp. Despite nursing a knee that is not close to 100%, she pushes through and wins the conditioning test everyday. Ally, also a Senior, has the ability to bring the team together by always staying positive on the field. Avery, a Sophmore, does her talking in the way she plays the game. She might only be a Sophomore but she will be one of the best players on the field in every game we play no matter who the opponent is...

The girls wrapped up a grueling week of tryouts/practice today. They are ready to go for our first scrimmage this coming Tuesday at home against Central followed by our first game next Friday @ Barrack Academy. On Monday, a new era of Little Flower Soccer begins. First and foremost, I do not take this responsibility lightly at all. Our teams will always be organized, well-conditioned, play as a team, represent the school values, have good sportmanship, and give maximum effort on the field at all times. It is certainly going to be an adjustment for the girls returning from last year so I ask that you please give them the patience they deserve when critiquing their play and results on the field this year. It is going to be a multi-year process to get the program restored to the level it deserves, but there will be signs and glimpses that it is headed in the right direction in this first year. I feel extremely grateful that I was given the opportunity to lead this group of young women and I promise they will make everyone associated with Little Flower very proud both this year and beyond.

Head Coach Spotlight: meet new Head Coach, Lou Hagarty Jr. Lou comes to Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls with six years of coaching experience at the club level. He has guided his Danubia Wolves from the u9 age level all the way into their high school years. His team has consistently improved year over year, starting in Division 4 of the ICSL back in 2020 through today where the team competes in the EDP Mid-Atlantic division. Lou attended Bishop McDevitt High School where he played soccer and graduated in 1997. In 2002, Lou graduated from Temple University. It is no small task to take over a program from a legend like Coach Markos but we know Lou is up for the challenge and will bring a lot of enthusiasm to the job. Lou resides in the Fox Chase section of the city with his wife Shannon, and two daughters, Maura (13) and Erin (17).
