RIP General Charles Edward McGee. One of last surviving Tuskegee Airmen. Brigadier General flew 409 combat missions( three-wars), 6,308 flying hours, and has been bestowed (2) Legion of Merit, (3) Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star Medal, (26) Air Medal, and Congressional Gold Medal.
I wish everyone a safe New Year with strong tailwinds.
