Help us transform lives through dance!
MPAC depends on the generosity of donors to achieve its goals in helping young dancers. Our goal is to create positivity amongst our dancers and make dance accessible to families in our local communities. Philadelphia has been plagued with so much gun violence. Gun violence targeting youth is on the rise in Philadelphia, with city data showing the number of shooting and homicide victims under 18 so far this year more than doubling since 2015.
Our program would help keep these young performing artist in a safe and nurturing environment. It stands committed against all forms of discrimination and believes that all individuals should have the chance to experience world-class dance training. Classes have been devised to encourage all ages, levels and generations of movers. Ranging from introductory classes to advance, the community will have the opportunity to engage in dance amongst some of the East coast’s top instructors and Master class teachers. Classes have been designed to uplift, motivate, and encourage community members to move as freely as they see fit within a positive learning environment. Changing one dancer at a time. Allowing these young people to explore the world.
Your contribution is vital to the school's continued success and very much appreciated. Your generous donations make it possible to keep offering plentiful financial aid/tuition assistance to any youth student in need. It helps to support our dancers in exploring all that the world of dance has to offer beyond Philadelphia. We want to keep making work that challenges our community to be better. These young people deserve it Every gift counts!
Today we are asking for donations to help at least 50 dancers or more. Our goal is to raise $80,000 that would start us with classes, dance attire and more. With hopes of purchasing transportation to pick these students up to transport them to our facility. With your help we can transform the lives of so many students through dance.
