If I ever hit the Lottery, there will be signs.

Just finished listening to Chaz Grissom’s interview during the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants baseball game on Netflix and the one thing that really stood out was how he described the loose, easy-going vibe in the clubhouse and how much it helps the team perform under pressure.

You see the exact same thing with the Philadelphia Phillies. It’s a great reminder that in the big leagues, having a supportive, relaxed environment is huge. When players aren’t pressing and are just playing the game they love, they play freer… and they win together.

That’s a big part of my coaching philosophy here at Major League Pitching Academy.

We train hard — really hard — but we keep it loose.
No overthinking.
Be aggressive.
Stay confident.

Because the best pitchers (and the best teams) aren’t the ones who tighten up under pressure… they’re the ones who trust their preparation, back each other up, and go out there and attack the game with freedom and fire.
