every woman i’ve ever worked with had a list.

not a goals list. a “when i lose weight” list.

the photoshoot she’s been rescheduling

the tattoo placement she’s been sitting on bc she wants her arms to be a certain size first

the vacation she booked but already decided she’ll hate every photo from

the crop top hanging in her closet with the tags still on for two years

THIS is the real cost.

not a number on a scale

but the experiences she is actively not having.

i spent years thinking i was the problem. too inconsistent.

too undisciplined. too all-or-nothing.

turns out i was just in the wrong room.

mainstream fitness content wasn’t built for me. the language wasn’t mine. the role models weren’t mine.

the plans assumed a version of me that doesn’t exist.

so i kept trying to reshape myself to fit instead of asking whether the fit was ever actually possible.

it wasn’t.

if you’ve been consistent before and it still didn’t work, you are not the broken variable. the PLAN was.

When she first came to me, she wasn’t a beginner.

She’d already lost 80 lbs on her own once. She knew what macros were. She knew how to lift. She understood the concepts better than most people who walk into a consult.

The problem wasn’t information. It was that she’s a homeschooling mom running her own business, and her life had zero room for a plan that couldn’t handle pressure.

She was deep in the all-or-nothing cycle. Eating well for a few weeks, falling off, restarting from zero, repeating. Meal prep was consuming half her day. Tracking felt like a third job she hadn’t signed up for. And every time real life won, the guilt made it harder to get back up.

She didn’t need to know more. She needed a plan that worked with her chaos, not against it.

Fast forward 47 weeks ⬇️

✅ Down 49 lbs

✅ Over 26 inches lost from her body

✅ Waist down 9 inches. Hips down 8.5 inches.

✅ Eating MORE than she ever was on her own

✅ Working out LESS than she thought she needed to

✅ Consistent through the hard weeks, not just the easy ones

Oh, and here’s the part that’ll make your jaw drop, she was only actively dieting for about HALF of that time.

The other half? She was eating at maintenance. On purpose.

49 lbs. 47 weeks. Half the time in a deficit.

Her words, not mine: “I get to eat more and workout less yet still lose weight weekly. I love it.”

She’s been with me for almost a year. And she’s not the same woman who got on that first call. She’s grounded. She’s consistent. She trusts herself in a way she hadn’t in years.

you cut your carbs. you did hours of cardio. tracked your food. meal prepped weekly.

and it still didn’t stick.

that’s not a you problem. that’s a plan problem. consistency only works when the thing you’re being consistent with is actually built for your body and your life.
