For the past five years, the Musselman family has been making themselves right at home at Blue Bell Country Club after joining alongside friends — proof that good company tends to lead to great places. Since then, Michael has settled into a few club favorites, with Fridays on the golf course becoming a standing tradition and family time around the club filling in the rest.

When it comes to memorable BBCC moments, one story definitely rises to the top. A few years ago, Michael was at the range with his son, Logan, when someone called out and suggested Logan finish his swing a little higher. Logan looked over and asked, “Dad, who is that?” Turns out it was Gary Player casually handing out swing advice — not a bad person to take a lesson from. Michael says the few moments they spent talking and getting tips from him became one of those memories you don't forget.

Michael’s upcoming calendar already has room marked off for the next tequila or bourbon dinner, while the family schedule is a little more kid-driven: pool days and anything involving the ice cream truck automatically make the list. If you happen to spot him at Arnie’s in between, there’s a good chance a Brisket Sandwich is involved.

Away from the club, Michael and his buddies are working through an ambitious golf bucket list of playing the top 100 courses in the country and have already crossed 33 off so far. He’s also recently joined BBCC's Executive Board, bringing years of experience in restaurant operations, family entertainment, and country club management with hopes of helping elevate the member and staff experience even more!

Bocce season is officially underway! Our Bocce League kicked off this week, and we can’t wait for another summer of friendly competition, great company, and fun nights on the courts.
