For Joe and Marie Barajas, Blue Bell Country Club has been part of their story for the past 15 years! What started as a membership quickly turned into a lifestyle, with the two becoming familiar faces both on the course and at the Club’s social scene.

Their time at BBCC is filled with standout moments, including Joe’s unforgettable hole-in-one in just their second year as members. More recently, Marie added her own highlight to the list with a Member-Guest victory in 2025. It’s no surprise that golf remains at the heart of their Club experience, and they’re already looking forward to another season of member/member and member/guest tournaments, holiday events, and plenty of time well spent with friends.

When they’re not out on the course, you’ll likely find them at Arnie’s, enjoying go-to favorites like the crab cakes, Mediterranean platter, pizzas, and any specials being served up. And while some members may keep a few fun facts up their sleeve, Joe and Marie will tell you they’re pretty much an open book—after all this time at the Club, there’s not much left to keep secret.

Yesterday was a beautiful day celebrating the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who make our club community so special. 💐 Thank you to all of our members and guests who joined us at Blue Bell Country Club for another wonderful Mother’s Day celebration filled with great food, family, and time well spent.
