We are the only league where Doylestown players ages 5-12 can be part of the pagentry of Little League baseball! Many Doylestown parents grew up in Little League organizations around the area or across the country. Now Little League Baseball gives Doylestown players access to the skills and experience of a 75-year-old organization dedicated to developing “Major League people.”

The schedule on 5/16 will be as follows:
3:00-3:45pm: Ages 11-12
3:45-4:30pm: Ages 9-10
4:30-5:15pm: Ages 7-8
Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than your scheduled time as times are approximate based upon the number of participants.

Age Cutoffs

Each group goes by a May 1st cutoff in terms of birth date as shown below.
Age 7: 5/1/2018 – 4/30/2019
Age 8: 5/1/2017 – 4/30/2018
Age 9: 5/1/2016 – 4/30/2017
Age 10: 5/1/2015 – 4/30/2016
Age 11: 5/1/2014 – 4/30/2015
Age 12: 5/1/2013 – 4/30/2014

The Phillies Home Run Derby representatives will set up a pitching machine and give roughly 10 pitches to each player. Points are awarded for the distance the ball is hit. Total points are then calculated for each player. The top 3 scorers in each division can advance to the regional round (date and time TBD). Regional winners then get an opportunity to hit on the field at Citizen's Bank Park! Plumstead Baseball has had multiple participants go to "The Bank" in recent years
