From the jazzy brilliance of Gershwin’s Concerto in F, performed by world-renowned pianist Hélène Grimaud, to Bernstein’s powerful “Jeremiah” Symphony and the electrifying music of West Side Story, this program is as dynamic as it is historic.

Philly Hoyas at Hoyas Give Baxa!

This year, our Hoyas helped organize donations, atock shelves, and clean up racks at Habitat for Humanity ReStore North Wales. After, a group created cards for Cradles to Crayons and made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for St. Francis Inn!

Join us on Saturday, May 16 from 10:30–11:30AM for a docent-led walk through Calder Gardens, Philadelphia’s newest cultural gem dedicated to Alexander Calder.

Explore stunning gardens designed by Piet Oudolf and a dynamic indoor space by Herzog & de Meuron, featuring rotating installations that evolve with the seasons. Along the way, connect with Calder’s deep Philly roots including ties to the iconic Swann Memorial Fountain and Philadelphia City Hall.

Our main service project will be at Habitat for Humanity ReStore Lansdale/North Wales location where we will help organize and sort donations and arrange the store from 11 AM to 1 PM.

After, please join us for some fun and extra service at Ten7 Brewing Company where we will make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for St. Francis Inn and create cards for backpacks for Cradles to Crayons. We will head over after ReStore so will arrive around 1:15ish. Email Lindsay at [email protected] to allow for proper table reservation! Feel free to bring food to eat or buy from the food truck of the day!
