And somehow, three months disappear again. 😂

But the love is still there.
The friendship still feels like home.
And we can show up exactly as we are.

Here’s to the women growing through life beside us—even when miles, motherhood, and busy calendars keep us apart. 💗

Send this to the friend you can always pick back up with.

There’s a version of life we’re taught to expect:

Career figured out in your 20s.
Marriage by a certain age.
Kids on schedule.
House purchased.
Purpose found.
And somehow, by mid 30s, you’re supposed to have it all figured out.

Mine didn’t happen that way.

Some of the biggest, most defining parts of my life came later than I once imagined they would.

I changed careers at 30.
Became a business owner at 36.
Bought our first home together at 40.
And in my 40s, I became an athlete and started asking myself a completely different question:

Who am I becoming now?

Because motherhood changes you. Life changes you. The dreams you had at 25 may not even fit the person you are today.

And maybe that’s the point.

You’re allowed to evolve.
You’re allowed to want something new.
You’re allowed to rediscover yourself after years of taking care of everyone else.
And you are absolutely allowed to begin again at 40, 45, 50—or whenever you’re ready.

Your life is not behind schedule.

There is still so much of you left to meet. ❤️

If you’re a mom, a woman over 40, or simply someone who feels like you’re still figuring out who you are becoming, you’re my kind of people.

Follow along as we get stronger, dream bigger, take up a little more space, and keep evolving.

And tell me 👇: What’s something you did “later” than you thought you would?

Postpartum isn’t about “bouncing back.” It’s about giving your body the time, nourishment and support it needs to heal and rebuild.

Give yourself grace, meet yourself where you are and remember: caring for yourself is part of caring for your family. ❤️

You’re not starting over—you’re returning to yourself.

Save this for the days you need the reminder, and share it with another mom who needs to hear it.

Somewhere between being a mom, a wife, running a business, taking care of everyone else, and trying to keep up with life… I realized I had lost a little bit of myself.

We spend so much time showing up for everyone else that keeping promises to ourselves becomes the thing we cancel first.

That’s why the training leading up to HYROX DC meant so much more to me than just getting ready for a race.

Every time I trained—even when I was tired, busy, overwhelmed, or could think of 10 other things I “should” be doing—I kept a promise to myself.

And with every promise I kept, I became a little more confident.

A little stronger.

And honestly… a little more like me again.

Going into this race, I could have focused on everything I didn’t do.

I could have told myself I didn’t train enough to beat my previous race. That I should’ve run more, trained harder, or been more prepared.

Instead, I told myself:

I’m here now.
I trained.
I’m stronger.
I’m going to trust myself and have FUN.

And that’s exactly what I did. ❤️

Sometimes finding yourself again doesn’t require some huge life change.

Sometimes it starts with one small promise to yourself—and actually keeping it.

A workout. A walk. Seven minutes of movement. Signing up for something that scares you. Doing something simply because you want to.

Mama, you’re allowed to have goals that belong to you, too.

If you’re a busy mom trying to feel strong, confident and more like yourself again, follow along. We’re figuring this out together.

And comment “ME” if you’ve ever felt like you lost a piece of yourself somewhere along the way. ❤️ so I can show you some love too 🫶🏽

If you want true love, first start by loving yourself.

If you want happiness, start by loving yourself.

If you want financial abundance and freedom, start by loving yourself.

If you want to find fulfillment and purpose, start by loving yourself.

Everything begins within.

When you don’t love—or even like—yourself, it becomes harder to believe you deserve the relationship, career or life you dream about. It’s harder to chase your goals, receive love and give others the love they deserve.

Loving yourself doesn’t mean you have everything figured out. It means knowing you are worthy while you continue to grow.

The life you want begins with the relationship you have with yourself.

I used to say I didn’t have time to work out.

But the truth was, I was giving all of my time and energy to everyone else—and would get frustrated that I didn’t have the “motivation” to achieve my goals or simply do a workout.

As a mom and business owner, there will always be someone who needs help, somewhere I need to be, work that needs to get done and another responsibility waiting for me.

If I waited until everyone else was taken care of, my needs would always come last.

So now, I get up before everyone else and make that time mine.

Not because my family is less important, but because taking care of myself helps me show up better for them.

Moving my body supports my mental health. It gives me more energy, helps me manage the demands of my day and reminds me that my goals still matter too.

Putting myself first for one small part of the day doesn’t make me selfish.

It means I’m no longer trying to pour into everyone else from an empty cup.

I matter too—and so do you. ❤️

If you’re learning to fill your own cup, make time for your own goals and prioritize your well-being without guilt, follow along. We’re learning to choose ourselves—together.

This morning, I planned to go for a run before it got too hot. Then the school called, I had to drop what I was doing to drive there and suddenly my entire morning changed.

Yesterday, my husband’s flight was canceled, so I had to rearrange my day and cover his shift.

The old me would have let this moment completely change my state. I would become frustrated, allow that frustration to follow me throughout the day and sometimes abandon everything else I had planned.

But NOW I’m learning that emotional growth doesn’t mean never feeling frustrated.

It means recognizing the feeling without allowing it to control what happens next.

I may not be able to control the phone call, the canceled flight or the unexpected change of plans—but I can control how long I allow that moment to have power over me.

So I pause. I breathe. I adjust the plan.

And I keep going.

Our days (or our life for that matter) may rarely go exactly as planned—but that doesn’t mean we have to give up on ourselves or our goals.

The plan changed. The goal didn’t.
