Abhorrent, that is Trump in one word. Hypocrisy has no greater example than in him with his total dismissal of any right-wing manifestation of political violence.
The Medal of Freedom being posthumously awarded to Charlie Kirk just adds to one's conviction; while murder is certainly not condoned, Kirk pales in comparison to others that are more deserving of the honor - whether they walk among us or peacefully watch over us.
As the Trump Administration continues to make a mockery of the Executive Office and of this country with this medal presentation, is a breaking point reached before the next general election? The Conservative Right is becoming further entrenched, something must give or someone with compounding charisma has to rise above, preferably with a definitive plan... and soon for Independents and Moderates to be swayed!
Who will it be to rise up?

Back at SCOTUS...
"Already the US Court of Appeals has rejected her claim that this violates freedom of religion," said Jay Kaplan, attorney. "We have separation of church and state and you can’t use your religious belief to violate the law, which is what she was doing by refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples."
Kaplan, with the ACLU, says it’s unlikely the Supreme Court would decide to hear this particular case.
But, he says, marriage equality can’t be taken for granted. After all, the Supreme Court overturned Roe versus Wade – returning abortion laws to the individual states to decide.
"This is a conservative majority court – and I think there is a likelihood somewhere down the line that the court might revisit this marriage equality issue," Kaplan said.
