WHAT IS THE LEARN TO ROW SUMMER CAMP?
Over the duration of the week, new rowers will learn the basics of the sport by working on the water with our head coaches. This camp provides the perfect chance to try the sport and see if it’s a fit! Wear clothes that are good for movement, and make sure to pack water, sunscreen, hat/glasses, extra socks, a towel, and anything else you might find necessary on a beautiful summer day.
WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?
If you are looking for a fun, athletic, team-oriented venture, then look no further. Our rowers start off as novices or beginners, but then they catch the spirit and take off on their own, seeking additional opportunities to row, learning how to train and to take care of their bodies, and transferring the mental discipline they acquire to other aspects of their lives. Think a sport like this takes too much time from academics? Our rowers learn to manage their time and see their own grades improve! Please note that the camp is limited to students matriculating to LMHS for the 2026-27 school year.

There’s still time to support our annual Erg-a-thon fundraiser!
In just three days, our rowers will climb onto the ergs and begin a nonstop 90-minute relay; trading seats, digging deep, and pulling together for something bigger than themselves.
Our goal this year is to fund the purchase of an eight-person boat and to continue supporting scholarships, safety equipment, and access for every athlete who wants to row.
Please consider supporting our campaign. https://lower-merion-crew-ergathon-2026.raiselysite.com/
If you've already made a gift and want to extend your impact, you can support the team by sharing our campaign site link with a family member, coworker, or friend. Thank you!
