Drexel Dance is hosting its annual Drexel Dance Day on February 7th, 2026 beginning at 9:30am! We invite all High-School Aged Dancers to Drexel’s campus for a day of technique classes with Dance faculty in styles including Ballet, African, Modern, Hip-Hip, and Jazz. You will also learn about careers in dance through our Career Presentation Panelists and end it all by experiencing the Drexel Dance Ensemble’s Performance.

This quarter Drexel Dance faculty member Britt Fishel’s Screendance class had an incredible opportunity to step into the Motion Capture Studio! Students explored the intersection of dance, technology, and 3D computer graphics—learning how movement fuels world-building in dance film. They even got to witness two dancers in mocap suits, bridging the gap between real life and animation. A truly inspiring day of creative discovery!
