One thing that’s stayed true through every phase of my life is that I’ve always found exactly the people I needed in the gym.
Yes, fitness brings strength, confidence, & better health… but what makes it all worth it is the people you get to share it with 💪
My strength journey has given me incredible friendships & has continued to delivered a positive space to not only share my passion with like-minded & amazing people but also build a foundation to life as a forever couple with my soon-to-be husband. 🤍
Thank you family for celebrating us with a wedding WOD, and thank you for being my favorite lifting partner from the start 4-years ago 🥹 (peep last pic of our first ever pic together )

KB vs BB sn**ch: looks similar, feels different 👀
The biggest lesson? Timing through the hips.
If you rush it, your arms take over (& that’s where things can fall apart).
With the kettlebell, you can get away with a bit more flow…
but the barbell forces you to be patient.
Wait for the bar to meet your hips because that’s where the power is 💥
From there, the arms just get to guide it up overhead 😎

The barbell sn**ch humbled me real quick 😅
Coming from loving kettlebell sn**ches, I thought the transition would be easy… not quite.
Same goal: getting the load overhead, but different ex*****on.
Kettlebells allow more flow. Barbells demand precision, timing, and power.
Looks similar, feels different, but both excellent for the growth & gains!
Anyone else have a similar experience between these two lifts?

When my clients feel confident enough to move forward on their own, I know I’ve done my job.
Not because they have to…
But because they believe they can.
Over time, it stops being about just following a program. & starts becoming about understanding their body, building awareness, & trusting their decisions.
That’s always been the goal.
To educate.
To build confidence.
To create independence.
Because this phase, where a client feels ready to “fly solo”, isn’t the end. It’s graduation 🎓
It’s the moment they take everything they’ve learned and apply it to bigger goals, new challenges, & continued growth.
And hearing things like:
👉“I’ve learned a lot about my body and what it is telling me.”
👉“I feel like I can accomplish my goals, but I couldn’t have done it without you.”
👉“This program got me back on track. I can’t thank you enough.”
👉“I’m going to try training on my own with everything you’ve taught me.”
That’s what it’s all about.
Some will go on to chase new goals independently.
Some will stay or even come back for guidance at the next level.
But either way they leave with the tools, confidence, & belief in themselves to keep going.
And that’s the real win 🏆
The plan was to take on my first CrossFit Open this year… but between wedding planning & travel, it just wasn’t in the cards.
With no bigger purpose tied to my current training & stepping away from the grind I was in, it would’ve been easy to throw in the towel altogether.
But watching athletes of all levels take on the Open has been a great reminder that progress doesn’t only happen under perfect circumstances.
Even if the work now isn’t the work I originally intended to be doing, progress can still be made. Now just with a different focus & approach.
I’ll never say no to a challenge. I’ll always say yes to modifying when needed & I’ll always be willing to get quality work done with what I have.
So that’s exactly what happened here & what will continue until I’m back in the routine I originally set out for 💪

If your kettlebell clean is crashing into your wrist, it’s time to zip it up & keep the bell tight to the body!
Whether using a wall, stacked step-up blocks, or even a towel draped over a pull up bar.
Create a strong physical presence that forces the tension needed for a smoother, stronger clean 💪
Try this skill drill in your next session & drop in the comments to let me know how it went (hopefully no holes are put into your walls 😅…so please stand far enough away!)
Master the kettlebell clean to bridge the gap between your swing & sn**ch while building stronger, smoother, & more confident ballistic lifts 💪
🤓
I like to keep things simple here 🤗
I hope this page has created a space for those who want to lift better, feel better, & feel more confident while doing it 💪
& for anyone here who is ready to take it to the next level, find consistency, & receive the trusted guidance & support along your strength training journey…then we need to talk 😎
Honored to have you all here with me on this small corner of the internet 🛜
P.S. I’d love to hear from you! Send me a DM, share a goal you’re working toward, or just say hi 👋.
Your grip sets the tone for every swing, clean, & sn**ch.
Shift your hand towards the corner of the handle & don’t be afraid to chalk up 😎

Kettlebell Sn**ch 🫶
The main difference between a swing & a sn**ch is the path of the bell.
The legs still drive the movement & the arms still acts as the lever, but instead of the bell staying out in front, it travels up to a strong overhead lockout.
Key detail: keep the elbow close to the ribs & pull it back as the bell rises to keep the path smooth & efficient.
If you’re learning the sn**ch, try starting from the top down. Master the “down catch” first & watch how controlling the bell on the way down builds confidence, timing, & power for the way back up.
Your swing gave you the foundation. Now it’s about learning to control the vertical path.
💪 More sn**ch tips coming soon!

Mic’d up training session: part 2 🎙️ & 🚨 PR Alert-
The real power of progress in the gym isn’t just repetition, it’s intentional repetition.
Every warm-up set, deload day, working rep, & PR attempt.
When you train each rep with the same focus & standard, confidence isn’t something you hope shows up come go time, it’s something you’ve practiced over and over again.
You build trust in your movement, your strength, & your ability to execute when it counts.
And the bonus? Doing it alongside others!
There’s something so powerful about shared effort, shared standards, & especially shared wins 👏
Confident progress is built rep by rep…
& teamwork always makes the dream work‼️
Train with purpose. Show up the same. Stack the reps. 💪
