A good friend reminded me to thank everyone for the Birthday wishes and prayers.
These days I forget my manners often because I'm still dealing with the aftereffects of my last neck/spine surgery, which was July 20th. My goal and my hope is to recover so that I can return to and revive ATHENA ATHLETICS. Lots of potential clients I'm looking forward to training in the future.
Athena Athletics - Lxbbfh
Athena works with HS and College Female Athletes in Field Hockey, Basketball and Lacrosse If you're a HS player and you want to get better, I can help you.
I am in the business of helping, showing and teaching Female athletes how to be the best they can be in their sport(s). If you're a collegiate athlete who wants to perform better and maximize your potential, I can help. This business is about your GOALS, DREAMS and ASPIRATIONS. ATHENA is about YOU!
Athena's own MADISON MCKEE is no longer a LaSalle Explorer. She has transferred an will be continuing her education and Lacrosse career at the University of LOUISVILLE!
I am very proud of Madi and very excited for this new chapter to begin. She's excited about Louisville's Communications Dept and what it can do for her career wise and she's looking forward to showing her talent on the field against the ACC.
Hey Everybody! I hope you are all well and enjoying some of your Summer. Be careful with the heat and humidity. Don't do crazy stuff and STAY HYDRATED!
I will not bore you with what is going on with me health-wise. I'm not good, but I am still in Physical Therapy and going to see the Neurologist and get another MRI soon. I'll keep you posted when I have something to report.
HI EVERYONE, HOW ARE YOU?
Yes it has been a while since I have posted to this page. The reason for that is very simple : I am still trying to recover from my Spinal Stenosis attack of January 2019. I only have about 45 percent use of my right hand, arm and shoulder. Nerve damage, but hoping that they will rejuvenate at some point. Also my ability to walk straight has been affected as is my balance and equilibrium. Overall I'm at about 45-50%.
I actually thought about giving up this business. I was frustrated and sad. Felt sorry for myself, but I really missed my clients and the challenge of the work. I WILL RETURN! There are so many athletes that need my help and guidance...and I need them.
SEE YOU IN 2021!!

Thanks for your understanding.

Our Madison McKee reveling in her team winning the Jaguar Classic Girls HS Basketball tournament on Friday(12/28). Her Garnet Valley team defeated Central Bucks East, 57-23. Madi only scored 4 points, but had about 7 rebounds and 2-3 Blocked shots. She is a very talented athlete.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to our girl BIANCA SMITH. I texted her yesterday to wish her a happy 21st and received a nice text back from her. Hope to catch up with her soon.
Simply cannot believe she is in her Junior year at Boston University. Hopefully this will be her breakout year and she can snag that starting Goalie position for the Terriers. She works hard on and off the field and strives for success. Her father, Jerry, sent me some terrific photos from Fall Ball and I'm attaching them to this post.

A couple of weeks late with this : attended the Philly 5 Fall Ball event at Temple University in Philadelphia on October 13th. Met my Madi McKee and her G-mom, the legendary Donna Cini, there. Madi will be attending LaSalle University next Fall and she wanted to see her future team in action. Also playing that day were Temple, St. Joseph's, Drexel and Villanova.
Playing for Villanova in her Senior year is Athena's own Devon Brown. She has made solid contributions to the team as a 2nd line attacker and has started on occasions. Looking forward to watching Dev have a big Senior year.
