This is the most dangerous herb I have ever grown!
Culantro, also known as SAWTOOTH CORRIDOR, is a very spiky plant that has a strong cilantro taste and smell. Had no clue of its AKA, or how painful the spiky leaves would actually be, think cactus 🌵! If you love cilantro though I am growing it for new salt blend, if you hate cilantro RUN!!
Took my first trip to NJ today to pick up produce for the canning season and had to fill up truck on the way home, which I always do in NI because it’s cheaper… Guy pumping gas said we were lucky because the price was about to change any minute from $4.35 to $4.59/ gallon 🤯 So much for cheaper!!
You don’t need any more projects… says no one!!!
I am excited to be doing this fun project and the event it is for!!!

Sweets with a Sundry Mornings Twist:
Bacon Bourbon Cake- chocolate cake made with bacon grease (remember that bacon fat left over from my bacon… this is where it went), a vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, bourbon caramel sauce and a sprinkle of maple sugar
Lemon Cookies- loved by the folks , These are made with my lemon syrup, and topped with my citrus salt
Brown Butter Marshmallow Treats- my house-made marshmallow treats with a layer of JHC spiced marshmallow sandwich in the middle
Midnight Fog Brownies- a deep fudgy brownie sprinkled with my Purple Haze Salt blend (smoked sea salt with Earl Gray Tea)
