It is the consistent systems and structure that keep momentum moving forward and assist in the end. And in the meantime you can enjoy the fruits of your labor while your still in the game. One of my favorite components of owning the salon was participating in the success and development of the stylists. I took the summer to soak up the rays, travel a bit and think of what I want to do with my new future venture. I have a few ideas for a big business but while thinking of that idea I came up with this idea as well and thought it would be a great way to stay true to my mentoring role. Salon owners get all this insight and go to many events throughout the year to help them develop as an owner in the business but the stylist themselves don’t always have this same opportunity. It may be because of a financial issue ( we will fix that) or a time restraint or location (good thing for technology). It could also be that you are more motivated than your current salon owner. You deserve to be inspired, challenged and compensated for the work you do and I am here to assist you in the process. This is great for new stylists coming into the industry to set your career path but it is also great as a pick me up for the veteran stylist needing to get re-energized and reset.
