Wow, this is a great read and does a great job explaining a bit of what I do for the clients I work with.
Business owners, marketers, and agencies alike, this is the future of what profitable marketing looks like for your products and/or services. Don't try to save a few bucks by overworking your employees to do it all internally. Hire someone who has the know-how to get you in the door with the people you need to be working with. It is invaluable to the life and success of your brand.
Some companies backtrack on taking marketing in-house - Digiday Agencies and ad platforms look to capitalize on brands' inability to take advertising in-house on their own.

I recently watched Blade Runner 2049 again, this time at home where I could control the volume (and my hearing loss). Deakins totally deserved the Oscar, but after reading this interview with Joe Walker, I think he should have earned one too.

Lately I've been revisiting a lot of the music I listened to in high school. Some of the stuff I thought was so awesome actually sucks really bad, and some of it is actually even more enjoyable to me now. This is one of the bands that falls under the latter.
