Cheyney Club showed up in full force to back the team at Holy Family College yesterday, turning a tough battle into a powerful moment of unity and collective strength.

We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who supported our event yesterday and, with your assistance, we successfully met our scholarship goal to support CU student athletes.

I just received a call from Philadelphia City Council President Kenyatta Johnson, who invited me to bring four or five '82 team members (or supporters) to speak briefly at a City Council public meeting in City Hall this Thursday, October 10, around 10:00 a.m. Can either of you get four or five team members to speak and arrange for more alumni to show up in support?

Today, we honor Yolanda Laney, Esquire, aka The Goat, one of Cheyney University's best female basketball players, with a street named in her honor, which is a wonderful tribute.
