Healthy Kids Running Series is starting the first session in Marlton (the weather has delayed the start) this Sunday and runs for five weeks. What are your fitness goals? Do you put those goals on the back-burner because you don't have time to work towards them? I am a wife, a mother with three children at home, work a full time job and used to think I had no time to work on my goals. There is always time and there is always a way. My family is my life but I have realized that in order to be the best version of me I have to have my own goals and make time to work on them. I have always loved working out, running, and participating in races. I had my daughter, now three, and never made these things a priority. This changed when my husband pushed me to try something new, at the time a class that was offered locally. This changed everything and now I make working out and racing a priority again. I am now a better mom, wife, and employee. I feel so strongly about this that I decided to become certified as as personal trainer (NASM, CPT) so that I could help other people feel the same way.
