We love it when a bike plan comes together. 🚲💥
Yesterday, IYC donated bikes and gear to AMY at James Martin in Port Richmond to help grow their school bike program.
Huge shoutout to Coach + Teacher Tim Dickson — Guy's Racing Club member, longtime Philly bike rider, and the energy behind the school’s successful bike program.
This is the Philly bike network doing what it does best:
IYC + Guy’s Racing Club + AMY James Martin School = more kids on bikes.

Penn Treaty Park was a pretty great spot for a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Mountain Biking Try It Ride 🌊 🚲 😮
With the river, sailboats, and the Ben Franklin Bridge in the background, riders got rolling with Coach Jason and Coach Kenny, working on 3 key essentials — level pedals, fingers on brakes, and head up looking forward — plus ready position in the Pop Up Bike Park. And yes… there were multiple rounds of Foot Down Derby 🔥
And an awesome ride along the Delaware River Trail, too! The Circuit Trails East Coast Greenway Alliance
While the kids rode, Team Director Matt connected with parents about the team and program.
There’s still plenty of time to learn more and sign up — reach out and come check out Philly Pennypack Youth Mountain Bike Team!
