“You can’t tell the story of women’s basketball honestly without Philadelphia at the center. The players, coaches, and the culture that formed in Philly spread everywhere else.”

Can’t Retire From This: Philadelphia tells the story of women’s basketball through the eyes of the city, peeling back the layers of grit and tough love to get to the root of the stories and experiences that paved the way for the love of the game that we’re seeing today.

Philadelphia has a rich, layered history with professional women’s basketball and the CRP team is committed to honoring all of it. This chapter of the Can’t Retire From This series will reach back through time to surface the full story of what was built here. From the Philadelphia Fox to the Philly Rage, this city is no stranger to professional women’s basketball. This intentional work provides an opportunity to learn from the wisdom, passion, and community investment that came before.

There is just two weeks left to help them raise the funds they need to do this important project! Click the link in our bio to learn more.

And if you haven’t seen it already we highly recommend you watch their DMV doc. It’s truly incredible.
