Definitely one of the more unexpected photographs that's come my way. I was working in a women’s prison and the last person I would have thought to rock a Vashistasana was the Deputy Sheriff. But we got to chatting and she mentioned she was about to complete her teacher training. I was like, hold everything, I ain’t never shot with a Sheriff. And it occurred to me, the world is changing.

Yesterday, Sergeant Richard Lopez of Yavapai Sheriff was shot and killed while trying to arrest a suspect.
Our hearts are heavy with grief for his family, friends, department, and the community he served and protected for for 14 years.

Laddie Ray Boakin, 65 years old, black male, 5'10", 130 pounds.
He was last seen in the area of 12th Street and Glendale Avenue wearing a gray long sleeved plaid flannel shirt, gray or blue pants. Mr. Boakin suffers from medical conditions that may cause him to be confused or disoriented. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department.

I pray for miracles.

TO THE WOMAN WHO IS SLOWLY FADING AWAY
To the woman who has lost her spark.
To the woman whose get up and go, has well and truly gone.
This is for you.
This is to remind you whose daughter you are.
This is to remind you, that you don’t have to be everything to everyone, every day.
You didn’t sign up for that.
Remember when you used to laugh? Sing? Throw caution to the wind?
Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect.
You can get that back again.
You really can.
And that doesn’t have to mean letting people down or walking away.
It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave enough to say no sometimes.
Being brave enough to stop sometimes.
And rest.
It starts the moment you realise that you’re not quite who you used to be. Some of that is good, some of that is not.
There are parts of you that need to be brought back.
And if anyone in your life is not okay with that… they are not your people. Your people will be glad to see that spark starting to light up again.
So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don’t.

Ladies! I am really excited to begin a new * Joyful Journey Workshop* and Yoga series entitled, “Living In The Flowing Grace Of Christ”. My intention is to weave mindfulness, Movement, and meditation together in such a way that we truly feel supported to live in the flow rather than just survive it. With everything we have encountered in the last few years, living and leaning INTO each moment with HOPE is crucial spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, AND energetically. With that in mind, these workshops will incorporate personal an interactive prayer. Non - evangelical ( nor preachy) in nature, ( not my focus or style), ( they are personal & practical), this progressive personal growth workshop series will be once a month on a Sunday and last for 2 hours and limit attendance to 4 yogis in each class, thus I may have 2xs a month. I am also available to extend this series to interested yoga studios for a larger class/workshop series. ( Co-Ed)
$25, 2 hrs.
