U.S. stock futures drop after Trump tests positive for coronavirus — The Wall Street Journal Futures tied to the S&P 500 fell 1.7%, suggesting that U.S. markets could drop after the New York opening bell. The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury note edged down.

The graph below depicts how our S&P and Dow Jones preformed the 1st qtr of 2020. I'd like to ask you some basic questions to better understand how people interpret this graph. I'd like to thank you in advance for your feedback.

If you have $100,000 invested in the S&P and the S&P drops 30% on Monday, How much money do you have left?

If the S&P recovers on Tuesday and gains 30%, how much money do you have now?

If the S&P drops again 20% on Wednesday, How much do you have invested in the S&P now?

If on Thursday the S&P recovers and gains 20%, how much money do you have before the opening bell on Friday?

As of this morning, our markets were down. We have all seen the markets go up and down like a harsh roller coaster. As the markets dip down as shown in the graph, we may feel our stomach in our thoughts just like when we jump on the screamer at CA adventure. Everyone talks about recovery and how fast we are bouncing back. As you do this math and share your findings, think about your 401K. Your 401K might be in the S&P or DJ or maybe in the NASDAQ. Either way, it is important to understand how recovery works. We coach clients on how to better their button line, stream business process, reduce liability, etc. We coach individuals on how to better understand what their retirement vehicles are doing, how they work, and what can be done to protect them. Our advice on these matters is FREE!!!

Therefore, we want to thank you for your support and what you to know we feel honored to be working with your community. You may be wondering what if they reach capacity? Will I be able to leverage their resources later? Our client roster constantly changes. As clients reach their goals and learn skills to better support their growth, they reduce the time required from our team. In addition, we are constantly interviewing and hand-select dynamic coaches. In the recent past, we have noticed a pattern. Often, we are approached by struggling business owners with questions about how to make the necessary changes to improve their experience as a business owner. In many cases, business owners will ask a few questions, and never really follow through with the inquiry. This situation can often happen even before discussing any cost for our services has taken place. As we brainstorm to understand why this happens and research to better understand our clients, we realized that in large part, the very reason why this individual struggle is the lack of follow-through. Sometimes, this is triggered by the fear of learning that coaching may be costly, or fear that their business will not benefit from coaching, in some cases is the fear of success. The fact is that we are all motivated in the core by two things. Love or Fear.

If I ask you why did you start your business? You might say, I wanted to be independent or I wanted to make more money, If I follow up with the question, why is this important to you? you might say, I want to make more money because I want to provide a better life for my family. If I was to ask why that is important? You might say because I love them… The same can be for the other. When asked why making more money for your family is important? You might say, I fear what could happen if I don’t ensure their wellbeing… There is no right or wrong answer. For some of us, we are motivated by fears, for others, we are motivated by love. Let me be clear, we are not motivated by love all the time or fear all the time. In some cases, we are motivated by fear and in other cases by love.

Coaching is so much more than jumping on a call with someone that will ask you if you completed your target tasks for the week. Coaching is:
To support you
Pick you up when needed
Sharing prospective
Helping you find the tools you need
Helping you find your drive
Helping you identify obstacles
Helping you avoid obstacles when possible
Assisting you to avoid costly mistakes
Coaching is not doing things for you. Coaching is an intricately choreographed dance between the coach and business owner. Coaching is helping you identify whether you are motivated by love or fear and leveraging the core driver to support and take you to the target destination. Remember this, If I asked you to stand up and walk across the room, you would likely run into an obstacle. You might run into a table, chair or sofa and you might stop. You might be frustrated because you could not arrive on the other side of the room. In business you will also have obstacles, questions about how to grow, how to price, how to add staff, you would not have any obstacles if you were not moving to the desired destination. If you do nothing you will not have any obstacles. A Coach is here waiting for you to ask for help fo jumping over the chair or couch or how to deal with the roadblock that is keeping your business from delivering to you the life you envisioned. There is a coach on standby waiting to help you plan, launch and grow your business.
