My goals are to make 100% certain that each person I train looks, moves and feels better by providing structure, routine, and knowledge in their workouts and nutrition, while simultaneously providing a sense of community and comradery within SK Fitness.

I’m a veteran who served 5 honorable years in the United States Air Force. I have loved fitness for as long as I can remember and have been an athlete my entire life. I have played in almost every sport from football, baseball, soccer and track, to wrestling, MMA, and military combative training. Wow, so much progress in 24 days!

Lost 20+ pounds, down several percent body fat, feels like she has WAYYY more energy, feels more confident, and physical feels like she’s in less pain. She has suffer from back pain and other things for a long time and her pain is finally reducing 💪🏻

This client came to me about a month ago not really knowing where to start. She didn’t have a plan for nutrition, she didn’t have a plan for exercise, and didn’t know where in the heck to start
-
NOW she has a plan, she tracks her food daily and gets better every day. She hits her daily protein, carbs, and fats almost spot on daily!
-
She has days where she doesn’t feel like doing anything, but you know what? She still does it! She is a complete bad ass and I could not be more proud of her. She said “having a coach that cares makes we want to do better”. Having daily accountability and a coach who pushes you and motivates you is such a big help
-
As her coach I’ve seen such a change in her personality and confidence over this past month. Her family has even noticed her physical and mental changes ☺️
-
She also does all her workouts from home with very minimal equipment so you have no excuse! She is now realizing that it’s more about having your nutrition under control, being consistent with your workouts, and finding a balance with life than needing to crush it in the gym for 1-2 hours a day

Oh, and she works full time, is a mom of 2 boys, has pets, and more. If she can do it so can you!

Stop doing the same workouts from high school🛑

Look, I was there too. You took some weight training classes in high school and got taught by your coach how to lift like 10-15 years ago in a room full of 25 other kids right?

You also know that your body is NOT the same as is was 10-15 years ago (that would be nice right 😉) so why are you still doing the same routine? Why are you only switching up sets and reps? Why are you saving people’s workouts on Social media telling yourself you’ll do it later then don’t?

If you’re anything like me and all my clients it’s because you want to change and you ARE TRYING, but that is NOT a plan
-
That’s doing random things but expected calculated results. Hate to break it to you but it doesn’t work like that. Imagine trying to save up $10,000 in six months but not tracking any of your spending. You just spend when you want and buy when you want. Even more, you don’t even look at the price of anything you buy, if you feel like it then you buy it

It’s no different when you do the workouts that you feel like and TRY to randomly put things together and TRY to eat healthy. You will likely be disappointed with your results in the long run and not hit your goals because trying alone is not enough, you must also have a plan for your exercise and nutrition if you want your body and mind to change

Sure they put in a little more effort now that they have a coach but they were trying before. The difference is now they have a plan, now they have support, now they have accountability, now they have definitive goals, and now they have a community💪🏻🇺🇸

But…Struggle is temporary. Pain is temporary. Unhappiness is temporary…if YOU CHOOSE to make it temporary

We all have a choice! You choose the life you live. Some people have it much more difficult than others but ultimately it’s a choice

Nothing is forever! Why do you think weekends go by too fast? What do you think vacations always end too soon?

That’s because everything has a time cap. We all know that time can either be our worst enemy or our best friend. If we are in an awesome situation we never wanted to end. If we’re in a terrible situation the time couldn’t end sooner
-
The funny thing is as humans we actually don’t like the present. If we’re in a great moment we want it to last longer. If we’re in a crappy moment we want it to fly by, we are rarely content where we are in the present time🧐

If we know that, then why don’t we make our future better? If we’re struggling why don’t we change it? If we’re in pain why don’t we take the necessary steps to get out of pain? If we’re unhappy why don’t we start doing things that make us more happy?

Seriously, think about that and ask yourself these questions!

You DO NOT have to stay where you are. You can start taking the steps today to change your life forever. Time is ticking and I hate to say it, but it ain’t on our side

Being a dad and staying fit is NOT easy! I’ve had to make countless sacrifices in my youth to make sure I could balance my career, education, fitness, and relationships

For those of you who don’t know I’ve been a parent since 19 years old and love every moment of it, but that also means that my entire adult life I have had to juggle my own health and fitness journey along with being a parent
-
Nothing against people that don’t have children but I don’t have countless hours to spend at the gym. Not because I’m not good at scheduling but I realize my family wants me there. My family wants to spend time with me and be close to me. If it were up to me I would be spending two or more hours in the gym every day just because I love working out
-
As I get older I realize that I definitely want to be in amazing shape while continuing to find a balance between all the moving parts in my crazy life
-
For me, having scheduled workouts where I know how long they’re going to be 60 to 90 minutes (normal for me) and knowing exactly what I’m going to do in the workout gives me a sense of relief. I know that I only need to block out so much time to get it done so I can go about my day helping others, building my business, and spending time with my family
-
So if you’re in this boat and you have kids, if you’re struggling with finding time to work out and you feel like you’re just too busy, find a coach that will fit your lifestyle and your schedule into your fitness program. Not everybody wants to be at the gym for an hour and a half. Some days 30 minutes will get it done! It all depends on YOUR lifestyle, YOUR goals, and what YOU want to accomplish

My Story

I have a passion for training Veterans and First Responders that want to look better, move better, and feel better!

After finishing 5 years in the United States Air Force as a Crew Chief and Physical Training Leader, I felt beat up from years of sports when I was younger, lifting constantly in the gym, the military, and life in general.

All I knew how to do was train hard. I Iacked the knowledge on how to train hard and smart at the same time

After my enlistment ended in 2015 I've dedicated my entire life to figuring out the formula to create an AMAZING physique, while also moving and feeling like an athlete
