-beating the win streak with 13
-22-5 overall
-10-0 in region play
-making it to the elite 8 for the second time in school history (tying for the furthest finish)

so many reasons to celebrate today.
we are AUTOMATIC QUALIFIERS TO STATE!!! We finished ranked #4 and 2A SOUTH CHAMPIONS!!! We went 10-0 in our region, 17-1 divisional, 21-4 overall (including tournaments), and broke our schools record for a winning streak with 13 straight wins. This record was previously held by the 2007-2008 team that won 12 straight and made it to the Elite Eight.
We are patiently awaiting the results of the play-in games tomorrow and for the re-seeding and bracket presentation show on Saturday Feb 11th.
We will be playing in Prescott in the First round of state on Friday February 17th.

Sofia looks up to Kyrie Irving, she loves to watch the Suns, her besties are Xander, Ladell, and Kayden, and she lovessssss ice cream and track. Fun fact about Sofia: she is a track STAR!⭐️ She qualified for state last year and runs track year round! She is about to start her senior track season and we are so excited to see all she accomplishes.
Sofia is currently averaging 11.9 points per game, 4 rebounds per game, 3.4 steals per game and 1.6 assists per game over 24 games.

Today we will be taking a few posts to highlight one of our two seniors, Sofia👑
A shooting guard and a small forward, one of our leaders, and a true athlete.
Sofia has had a phenomenal last 2 seasons, with 185 points and 120 rebounds last season, and this season with 285 points and 97 rebounds so far. Check out our next post with some fun facts and more stats about Sofia 👑
