Any update on the December ride?
OHV plate found near the windmill, trail 5, Boulders OHV. There is a small bungee cord attached. PM me the color of the bungee to claim the tag.
Looking for some trails to drive with my Jeep. Been to Bulldog, Rolls and Sycamore Creek. Any other ideas around Mesa? Thanks!
Are you going to post an Event post for the 12/21 Table Mesa Show Me Ride?
Question: If I own a UTV which was purchased in California, how difficult is it to register in Arizona for the streets?
We are looking for a ride and/or a place to camp that we can ride out from in the Sedona area. Are you planning any upcoming rides or can you suggest a camp area that is accessible by OHV? Thank you for any information that you may have.
Thank you to our ride leaders today. We had a great time.
Rangely OHV Adventure Rally registration is open!

Please come and get involved in the planning effort by the Bureau of Land Management for the travel management plan currently happening in the Safford Field Office.

The plan covers BLM administrated lands along U.S. Highway 70 from Ft. Thomas to New Mexico border, north to Clifton/Morenci and south to the I-10. The plan covers parts of Graham, Greenlee and Cochise counties

This plan is important for everyone who likes to use or travel on public lands and wants to let the federal land managers know how they feel about this travel management / transportation management plan. This plan cover both motorized and nonmotorized.

Please post this to your groups and friends.

For more information on this travel management plan or to register a comment please follow this link to the eplanning site.

Copperstate Fourwheelers and Natural Restorations are working together to provide the 12th Annual 4 Peaks Cleanup this Saturday, November 6, 2021. Get out and show your support!

Join us Saturday, November 6th as we team up with our friends at Copperstate Fourwheelers for the 12th annual Fourpeaks cleanup. This event includes a cleanup of Sugar Loaf OHV area, directly across the 87 from Four Peaks.

The Sugar Loaf OHV Area portion of the cleanup event is financed in part by a grant to Natural Restorations from the Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Recreation Fund administered by Arizona State Parks & Trails.

Drive-up registration begins at 7:30am at the Four Peaks Staging Area, you do not need to pre-register. Even if you plan to help at Sugar Loaf, we need you to first register at Four Peaks. After registration, volunteers will spread out on the trails at Four Peaks & Sugar Loaf with dumpsters at both locations.

Directions to the staging/registration area:
GPS Coordinates: 33.669580, -111.495825
Copy & paste coordinates into your mapping system. We posted pictures of two maps in the comments to show you the area. Additional directions & schedule are listed on the flyer.

The Sugar Loaf OHV Area portion of the cleanup event is financed in part by a grant to Natural Restorations from the Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Recreation Fund administered by Arizona State Parks & Trails.

Please bring sturdy work gloves. Check the forecast & dress accordingly. Wear clothing & shoes that can get dirty. It will likely be chilly in the early morning. Wear long pants, thick-sole & closed toe sturdy shoes (no flipflops/sandals), a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

The Four Peaks Revegetation volunteer event is Sunday, November 7th from 8am to 12pm. This is the same meeting location for that event.

In addition to the U.S. Forest Service - Coconino National Forest and U.S. Forest Service - Kaibab National Forest, the U.S. Forest Service - Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests will also be closed to the public beginning tomorrow, June 24, 2021. Be on the lookout for updates regarding their re-openings later this summer.

06/23/2021

U.S. Forest Service - Kaibab National Forest has also issued a closure.

An entire #forest closure for the Kaibab National Forest to begin Wednesday morning, June 23 at 8 am. This includes the North Kaibab district, Tusayan district and the Williams district. Details at https://bit.ly/3zMCFrO.

A full forest closure means that the public is prohibited from entering any part of the Kaibab National Forest at any time. Forest Service personnel will attempt to reach as many people as possible to begin vacating campsites and informing individuals who are camping in the forest currently. Campers and visitors to the national forest should vacate their campsites before the closure begins, and the public should cancel any plans for visiting the Kaibab National Forest for the next several weeks.

Though parts of the national forest may receive rain from sporadic storms over the next couple of weeks, this closure will not be rescinded until sufficient precipitation is received to adequately reduce the risk of wildfire, and hot, dry weather conditions are no longer forecast to continue.

Stay tuned to the KNF Alerts & Notices at http://bit.ly/KNF-Alerts and for emergency evacuations at https://ein.az.gov/. #Stage3 #ForestClosure U.S. Forest Service - Kaibab National Forest
