2-2 on the day after losing to the #1 seed 22-21 in extra innings. We are back at it at 9a on Fenway after beating Los Angeles Shot Callers 25-14 this afternoon. In a good spot to make a run tomorrow!

2-2 on the day to move into Sunday at 9a back on Fenway. Working through some things with the added roster spots and looking to make a run tomorrow to turn some heads. Lost in extra innings to the #1 seed today 22-21 prior to beating LA Shotcallers 25-14. We have a loaded team and in a great spot for the remainder of the tourney.

First tournament of the season starting today in Palm Springs, California. 1-1 so far in round robin games and Majors bracket starts at 140p local time. Let’s got 48!

PS.Com World Series XV will be upon us in 3 weeks, here’s the write-up & schedule for Ablaze’s Round Robin bracket-

*top 2 finishers advance to Majors, bottom 2 advance to mid majors

41- Border Patrol Arsenal #7 West *defending Mid Majors Champs
42- Thin Blue Line #10 East
43- Northern Lawmen #12 East
44- Arizona Ablaze #11 West

No round robin bracket the entire weekend will be as important as this one. This is the ONLY RR bracket that will decide which division the teams will play in come playoff time. After the round robin the teams will be seeded 1-4. The top 2 teams will advance to Majors and the bottom 2 will move into Mid Majors. Seeding will be based on RECORD, HEAD TO HEAD (IF APPLICABLE), RUN DIFFERENTIAL, LEAST RUNS ALLOWED, MOST RUNS SCORED. COIN TOSS in that order.

The favored team is the defending Mid Majors Champions, Border Patrol Arsenal. Every time there is a "play in" division, some team will inevitably be accused of sand bagging. We guarantee this will NOT be the case with BP Arsenal. Every single one of their guys plays every game to win regardless of who their opponent is. They are fearless and have never once, in the history of their team existence asked to play down. They might not win it...heck they might go 0-2. But we guarantee you will see their best effort out there every inning of every game. The Northern Lawmen will squeak in just above TBL as our 2nd projected seed. Luke Watson has steadily built this team up from a Gold level team (runners up) to Mid Majors (runners up) to now a Majors caliber team. They can bang with any of the heavyweights and would like a game 2 rematch against BP Arsenal after watching them celebrate across the diamond in the ship last year. Thin Blue Line is in the same spot they were last year...in the bubble bracket. Throughout the year we kept hearing the same story, "didn't have all our guys" "we were short 6 starters" "2 guys cancelled at the last minute" etc. No more excuses. You have all your guys, you know you are good, now go out and prove it. The team needs to collectively 100% dedicate themselves into going 2-0 in round robin and securing a top seed for the Majors playoffs...and then let the magic happen. Every single guy on that team needs to believe than going to Mid Majors is a failure. They should ALL be completely dedicated to going 7-0 on the weekend and going home undefeated champions. 4-projection is another former Mid Majors champion, Arizona Ablaze. While everyone was raving about the NEW Arizona team, Goodyear PD, the steady Ablaze boys were just going about business as usual. In the end,, Ablaze reasserted themselves as THE team from Arizona and come into Vegas with their strongest line-up ever. They are the model of consistency and don't get caught up with the next "new" shiny toy. Ablaze winning this bracket would be a surprise to nobody...but they do have to get by their WC rivals BP Arsenal at some point. But they will need to get by Northern Lawmen first, and we love the Ablaze vs Northern Lawmen matchup. These two teams are constructed very similarly...in fact they are near mirror images of one another. Their opener could be the best game to watch all day.

Ablaze defeated BP Arsenal & then fell to LAPD Blue... back at it in the morn at 1045 against the winner of Alliance vs Silver Stars in the losers bracket

Ablaze goes 2-0 in round robin play to claim a spot in the majors bracket. Next up BP Arsenal at 330p..

Ablaze heads to Palm Springs, CA this weekend for their first police softball event of the new year.

The DEA Kickoff starts tomorrow, Ablaze takes on NorCal Reloaded at 10a to get their tourney started...

Good way to start off 2019. Guns and Hoses Tournement Champs.

Congratulations to our 2019 Guns-N-Hoses Softball Tournament winners, AZ Ablaze Police Softball Club! Awesome job!!

An 11-8 loss to the hands of Kentucky eliminates Ablaze from the tourney, leaving us with a 5th place finish in the mid-majors bracket. Not how we drew it up but, a pretty good tourney none the less... looking forward to 2019!
