Focus of this program is not to just last 6 weeks. The 6-weeks are to get you started on your personal health and wellness journey and build a base of strength and movement awareness. The focus will be on the power lifts. Squat/Bench/Deadlift complimented with body building accessory work. On top of the fitness component we will have a nutrition piece. This is key for seeing results.

Get Ripped is an 8-week program where participants focus on bodybuilding type movements with an emphasis on building lean muscle and burning fat.

This small group, private training program kicks off Wednesday, September 7th. Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at 5 p.m. at our Fitness HUB location and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. at 902 E. McKinley Street.

The $349 registration fee includes an 8-week membership to our private, full-service Fitness HUB location in Central Arts Plaza.

Participants can add on carb cycling support for an extra onetime fee of $99. Carb cycling involves going back-and-forth between high and low carb days. It is used by athletes and bodybuilders to drop fat, gain more muscle mass, and often kickstart weight loss.

Is it telling you to stop or to keep going? Most of the time it’s feeding our brain with negative thoughts (just stop, you’re not good enough, you’re too tired, this isn’t for you).

The moment you learn to be aware of those negative thoughts and that you control the final outcome is moment your life changes for the better.

You can’t cheat the grind and you definitely won’t be rewarded for anything you didn’t bust your ass for. Put your head down and work and when the moment is right you will shine with opportunity.

Ladies! Our next Women on Weights 12-week cycle kicks off Tuesday, August 17th.
Get small group personal coaching on your deadlift, back squat, and bench press, plus the ancillary work you need to increase strength and power.
Our participants have experienced huge gains and love the ladies-only environment.
Classes will meet Tuesday/Thursday at 4 PM with Open Gym Saturdays at 8:30 AM. Current members may add it to their membership for $79/month, or new members pay $145/month.

When making a change it’s easy to just go all or anything. The problem with this is that it leads to quick burn out, injury, are just coming short of your goal whether it’s nutrition, fitness or simply life related.

Create one healthy habit now and then do it again tomorrow and the next day. We talk about consistency a lot and now it’s time to apply it. Once you become great at this one thing move on to the next.

Your mind & body need it and want it. A few ways to make sure you’re getting it:

- No tv/phone/blue light 30-60 mins before bed ✅
- Practice meditation ✅
- No caffeine/alcohol before bed ✅
- Journal
- Consistent sleep
- listen to a podcast, read a book

We all know we SHOULD sleep more, but realistically are we working on our sleep hygiene? It’s one of the few things we can adjust and contribute to.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

No matter what, every week take a rest day - NO EXERCISE.

So many injuries could be avoided by following this simple rule and you will be much happier!

You as a human being have a super power and that is the power to CHOOSE! It lets us take control of our lives and remove ourselves from that survival mode s**t that was ingrained in our head from day one!

Often times we think adding another program outside of the gym will increase our fitness and make us better. This might yield short term results but in the end could lead to over trainings and burnout.

Instead try managing your sleep, diet and stress levels. This will yield a much higher return on investment.

Don’t get me wrong adding skill practice and technique work is great just make sure you have a smart plan that goes along with and make sure you are not just pounding your body to the ground.

We talk about these a lot in classes but what do they mean. Both are needed..!!!

Active recovery days are great for days where you just don’t feel Ike pushing the intensity and going heavy but you still want to move! The movements will be determined based on the individual and their capacity. A 5k row may not be active recovery for someone who has never towed more than 2k.
.
.
A rest day is a must! It’s a day for you to do life. Relax go on a walk with your dog enjoy some good food etc.
.
.
If you want to perform better you will need both of these in your weeks.
