🏀 What a great week for Pierz basketball!

A huge congratulations to the Pierz Black team for an undefeated 3-0 finish and to the Pierz Red team for going 2-1, with their only loss coming in a heartbreaking overtime thriller. The Dells tournament was filled with great competition, teamwork, and memories that made for an awesome time!

And a big shoutout to our Pierz Girls Basketball teams for their strong play on Tuesday! 🔴⚫💪

The gym was full of energy this week at Dribble the Lights Out! 🏀

It’s awesome to see so many young athletes putting in the work, pushing themselves, and sharpening their ball-handling skills.

A huge thank you to Coach Herold for organizing another outstanding camp and investing his time and passion into developing the next generation of basketball players. Opportunities like this make a lasting impact.

🏀 TYLER PETERSON'S SEPARATION BASKETBALL CAMP IS BACK! 🏀

Back by popular demand! Join former University of South Dakota standout and current professional basketball player Tyler Peterson for four days of skill development, competition, and fun at the Pierz MAC Gym.
Players will sharpen their fundamentals, improve game IQ, and learn the skills needed to create separation on the court through engaging drills and hands-on instruction.
📅 June 22–25
⏰ Camp Times:
• 3rd–5th Grade Boys: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• 6th–8th Grade Boys: 11:45 AM – 1:45 PM
• 9th–12th Grade Boys: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

🏆 STATE CHAMPIONS!

The Pierz Pioneers 8th Grade Boys defeated Fridley 29–25 to win the State Championship!

An incredible battle and an even better group of young men! Way to go!!

The Pierz Pioneers battled hard tonight in the Section 7AA Finals against the Pequot Lakes Patriots. The result wasn’t what we hoped for, but these guys competed with heart and represented Pierz with pride.

Congratulations to the team on a strong season and a Section 7AA Runner-Up finish. A special thank you to our lone senior, Nathan Cekalla for his leadership and dedication to the program.
