Friday we raced the Iconic Springfield TT! It was a new track to us and we want to Thank Cory Texter Promotions and Jared Mees Racing for all the hard work that went into getting it back on the schedule! It was another scorching hot day but we made the best of it!
Odins bike broke on the first lap of the 1st practice. Luke got it fixed right away and he headed back out for round 2 where he wasn't riding his hardest or feeling himself. Finished 3rd and 5th in the heats giving him 2nd row starts for the mains. Mains started after the sun went down and Odin came around a bit when it cooled off. He rode harder than he rode all weekend, with good starts and finished 4th in both classes!

Thursday we raced the short track in Springfield at the Illinois State Fairgrounds! Thank you Cory Texter Promotions and Mees Promotions for putting this on for the amateurs! It was an awesome program, great track and VERY hot with temps reaching 105°. In the 85cc class Odin finished 2nd in his heat with a direct transfer to the main where he finished 2nd! In the youth premier class he finished 5th in his heat and 6th in the main. He had the speed, just couldn't find a way to make a pass.

We raced the 1/2 mile at Triangle Motorcycle Club Saturday bringing home a 2nd in the 85 class battling his buddy CJ! For some added seat time he rode his 85 in the 250 class and finished 5th of 6. We had a great day and got lucky the rain held off. Thankyou to everyone who worked to put it on!

Amateur Nationals has come and gone and boy was it a week. Nothing seemed to go in the favor of the AMA so it was not a typical Amateur Nationals program. We had good lap times everyday, enjoyed the good company and made the best of it. Ran 3 1/2 miles and 1 indoor short track due to rain. Finished with a 2nd, a 4th, some 5ths, a 6th and one DNF. Placed 4th Overall in the 85cc Mod class and 6th Overall in the 85cc production. Tied in both classes with his buddy Carson.

Finally home after a long 26 hour day. Lima was absolutely amazing and Odin was flying all day! Thank you everyone for never giving up and getting us back on the track after all that rain! The track was awesome!!👏 👏

Qualifying went great and made the Dash for Gas by G&G Racing.
Holeshots have been sucking lately but still managed to come off last and make it to the front finishing 3rd in the 85 heat and 1st in the Youth Premier. After a long rain delay we headed back out for the 4 lap dash where Odin secured 2nd place behind his buddy Jax by 2 hundreths of a second!!!

Next up the 85cc main where Odin was leading and with 4 laps left to go the bike blew up. He quickly pulled in the clutch and saved himself from what could have been a nasty crash. He was crushed. With only 7 races before his next race the crew went to work switching suspension, tires, springs all the stuff to the back up bike where he started on the penalty line (3rd row) and rode his heart out putting it on the podium with a 3rd!
