One of the sweetest compliments ever has been having the manager of Design Market ask us to continue the look of our storefront onto the shop next door—white beadboard, striped awnings, flower boxes and all—so this little stretch feels like one beautiful, cohesive shopping street!

There is something exciting happening at Design Market lately. Every time I walk through the doors, something has changed. Spaces are being refreshed, displays are coming together, and everyone is going all in to create an even more beautiful shopping experience.

It’s wonderful to be part of a group of people working together toward the same goal: making Design Market one of the very best places to shop in Moore County.

We can’t wait for you to see everything that’s taking shape!

I met the owner of the new shop next door today! She is so sweet and I can't wait to become FRIENDS that work side by side in this amazing little community!

What began in our garage has grown into something we once only dreamed about.

One of the best things we did was wait until the time was right. Sometimes, working from home is exactly what your dream needs while you build, learn, and prepare for what comes next.

There were long days, uncertain moments, paint-covered hands, and plenty of reasons to be afraid—but we took the chance anyway. Watching our daughter help bring this little shop to life made the journey even sweeter.

And although Muscadine Cottage now has a storefront, the garage where it all began isn’t being left behind. I’ll still be making, creating, and dreaming in my home workshop—because the dream may have grown bigger than the garage, but the garage will always be part of its story.

While one of us is at the shop renovating today, the other is back home filling your orders.

We may be renovating our first storefront, but Muscadine Cottage is still very much running behind the scenes. Every soap is still being packed, every order is still going out, and we are so grateful for every single one of you keeping us busy while we build this next chapter.

Somehow it's all coming together!
