Not everyday you find a bullet stuck in the roof.
Found a bullet stuck in a roof today
With only 6 skaters the Pounders took to the ice tonight. Jumped up 3-1, then 5-2, then a 5-5 tie, but somehow the 6 of us mustered the strength to pull off a 8-5 victiry. Go Pounders
Despite only fielding 8 skaters the Pounders played hard and defeated the nasty puckers 6-4. 2 goals for Ed & Steve, 1 for Eric & Paul, 4 assists for Paul, 2 assists for Ron & Eric, 1 for Ed & Steve. All three D played awesome, Jr stood on his head and made a bunch of great saves.
Pounders won 5-1 last night, 12 seconds short of another shut out. 2 goals for Scott, 1 for Paul, Steve, & Mike. Paul had a redirect from Eric called back for a man in the crease. Assists to Mike, Eric, Paul, Steve, Don, & Scott. Great D and Jr was awesome in goal.
Despite having barely enough players to field a team, the Pounder hung tough. Paul King scored short handed to take a 1-0 lead, Don Klinger blasted a shot from the point to tie it a 2, Arnie Jarrell & Bill Platt had great goals to bring it back to 4-5, before falling 4-6. Assists from Paul, Bill, & Don. Jr played most of the game hurt, but you could not tell. Still in 1st place.
Ed fires a blast from the point to put the Pounders up 1-0, we soon found ourseves down 3-1, Steve scores 2 goals to tie the Game and Eric scores the go ahead. Pounders win 4-3. 2 assists for Paul & Eric, 1 for Ron. Great D, killed off a 6 on 4 penalty for the final 2 minutes. Pounders win 4-3 and remain undefeated.
Pounders defeat Honey Badgers 5-3. Frank McHenry Jr. got hurt with an undisclosed injury early in the game, but stood tall in goal. 2 goals each for Steven Kilroy and Paul King, 1 goal for Scot Sobieski. Assists by Eric Fransen and Dave Amaral. Awesome D by Don Klinger, Ron, Arnie, Matt, & Dave. Pounders the only undfeated team in the league.
After falling down 2-0 and 3-1, the Pounders fought back and emerged victorius 5-4. 2 goals from dave, one each from Paul, Eric, & Mike. Assists to Bill, Eric, Matt, & Paul. The Defense really stepped up and played a great game.
Pounders defeat Upper Deck 5-1, IHL championship game Monday 7:30. Great win against a tough team. 2 goals for Steve, one for Bill, Mike, and Eric. 2 assists for Paul, one for Lou, Bill, Scot, Mike, Eric. Jr and our great Defense held the shut out until the last 5 minutes and held them to 16 shots. Monday we defend our title.
