Just wanted to share a quick update on Luminosity! I know we have been quiet this summer. Luminosity aka Scooby was injured at the beginning of the summer and sustained some pretty significant wounds to his head/face as well as some facial nerve paralysis. We are still dealing with getting the wounds healed up and he still has some facial nerve paralysis. He is improving daily, however unfortunately his futurity year is over. I had high hopes for this fall, but when does anything ever go according to plan! Luckily, he will recover from this. It was touch and go for a while on whether or not he would be able to eat. He will get the next few months off to continue to heal, and plan to have him back in the performance pen by next spring. He has shown how kind and good minded he really is through this whole adventure. He will have limited frozen contracts available this fall!
