One Point. But not THE Point.

One team traveled from Texas and the other from Pennsylvania. Through relentless competition they each earned a spot in the Championship Game.

Throughout the entire, insanely physical defensive game, each team simply needed to score one single point more than the other to win the title. And the team from Texas scored that point to take home the trophy (31-30).

But THE Point is this. The athletes on the DFS 2024 Team brought with them a season that held skill development, play review, recovery options, strength building, previous tournament experience, and team growth. The game was about showing up with heart, staring adversity down, and being their very best in every moment they chose. The girls wanted to win. They tasted it. And they deserve the recognition and applause of the fans and families.

As athletes, those girls showed up, and played with strength and resolve like never before. I’m proud of this team.

THE Point is this. Win or lose. Show up. Easy or hard. Show up. Practice or Play. Show up.

Congrats ladies. For showing up. You were incredible.

Can’t stop won’t stop! Our team was at it again. With only one day off to rest and recover from Run for the Roses, our team arrived in Spooky Nook at the Hoop Group Championship Weekend in Lancaster, PA.

The girls achieved a 3-1 record in the tournament, playing against teams who attacked with very different styles of play. At their best, our team is a force to be respected by the highest of competitors. Teams are learning about the reputation of my athletes. These opportunities are teaching my players so much about their game and how they can continue to get better, for themselves and for their team.

Way to show up ladies! Continue to make YOURSELVES proud.

One tournament remaining together➡️July 23-25 at Spooky Nook. Looking forward to ending strong!

Tough competition. Relentless play. Team growth. Once in a lifetime experiences.

Run for Roses in Louisville, Kentucky challenged these girls in every single game. We swept our pool 3-0 then entered the Cyan Platinum bracket. Two consecutive losses to 2 insanely talented teams ended our week humble yet hungry.

My nine athletes are continuing to grow each and every minute on the court. I am proud of seeing them compete in ways that force them to choose the next level of effort.

By creating colorful memories and learning more about one another as athletes and teammates, each girl becomes stronger as a woman. For our team. And for themselves.

Way to go ladies! It’s a pleasure to coach such true athletes on these courts. And thank you parents for being true participants and fans.
