Burgettstown Bandits Baseball

Congratulations to Jayden Roach on making the Washington County Pony League All Star Team that will play in the Pony League World Series.

Bandits Baseball had two second place finishes the past two weekends, losing both tournaments, The Blachawk Invitational and the No-offseason/Next Tier Memorial Day Classic to Blackhawk 14U. The Bandits went 2-2 @ Blackhawk, beating Ringold twice and dropping 2 to Blackhawk. At No-Offseason, the Bandits went 2-1 defeating Next Tier Gray and Blackhawk before losing the rematch to Blackhawk in the finals. The Bandits stand at 6-5 on the year.

Bandits baseball 14U started their 2023 season by going 2-2 in the I-79 Classic in Morgantown.
Sat nite they lost to TP Fury 12-3 after hanging close for 3 innings, the beat Washington Rebels 9-1 finishing up at 1130p. Sun saw the Bandits beat the Laurel Spartans 8-5, before dropping a 10-7 decision to the Rebels in a semi-final game.

The boys played well this weekend and won the Washington 13U Tournament going 4-1.

Congrats to Burgettstown Pony Baseball for winning the 2022 Founder's League

Mixed results today for the Bandits as they opened the season with a 8-2 win over the Washington Rebels, but dropped a 8-1 decision to host Blackhawk.

The Bandits enter single elimination play tomorrow at 11am vs AIA Miners looking for a win and a chance at a rematch with Blackhawk in the finals.

The Bandits start their 2022 season with doubleheader action in the Blackhawk Tournament. They play at 10am vs the Washington Rebels, then at noon vs the host Blackhawk team.

Bandits Baseball will have their first practice of the new year this coming Saturday, January 29 from 4p-6p at the Burgettstown Middle School Gym. Parents please have your sons bring a change of shoes, their gloves, bat and something to drink. Please no food in the gym.

After rough opening day in pool play and going 0-2, rebounded nicely sunday to go 1-1 with much all around improvement.
